Mission Corn Tortillas Upc

Hi, everyone--I'm trying to get my local Kroger to carry Mission's Corn Tortillas, as they carry the flour and low carb ones. They are requesting the UPC for them (they state specifically the UPC for the refrigerated ones), and I searched Mission's website and couldn't find it. If anyone has them in their home, would you mind posting the UPC? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks! :D

That is soooo frustrating. How would they expect you to have the UPC code if you can't buy it from their store???? <_< Fortunately I just happen to have a package of Mission White Corn Tortillas in my refrigerator--although they were not refrigerated at my local QFC. Here's the UPC Code: 0 73731 00313 8

I hope that helps.

That is what I use also, the White corn. I prefer those to the yellow. I had a package and that is the same UPC that I had on mine :) hehe Guess I don't need to post it. ;)

It's somewhat time consuming, but if you ever find you have the time on a weekend, and can find masa harina, I HIGHLY recommend making your own corn tortillas from scratch. It's not hard at all, just takes some time (and plenty of plastic wrap ;-) ) to roll them all out. They are SOO much better fresh, but, of course, don't last very long at all. (They're at their peak for about as long as dinner lasts. ;-) )

While we are on the subject, here is how I use the tortillas for "Bronco's Tacos"

I spray oil into a pan on the stove. I gently place one of the tortillas on the pan --- let it sear a little.

Then put your favorite type of grated/shredded cheese on top of it (not too much :))

Place another tortilla on top of the cheese.

After a while, flip the tortilla.

Then, take it out, put your beans, carne asada, hamburger, chicken, etc on there

Every bite has yummy gooey cheese !!! Good Tacos! B)

I try to make them at least once every couple of weeks!!!!!

Thanks, everyone, for your help! I sent the UPC to them, so hopefully some good will come of it--I'm missing my enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos, etc. And, you're right, burdee--I don't have the package, so how I would I have the UPC? Very frustrating! That's why I'm so grateful for all of you! Thanks again!

If you succeed at getting the Mission corn at your Kroger let me know. I tried here where I live and failed.

I'll let you know, Richard. You would think that if they carry all the other types, the could carry the corn ones, so if I have any luck, I'll let you know what Kroger they're at (the one on Main St. or University City Blvd.) Let's keep our fingers crossed!

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
