Has anyone ordered from grandma ferdon's? they seem to have alot of unique items. IE: beef or vegetable pasties. I want to try some things but thought I would get some comments on their products first....

I've been searching the web for some different things and have also found something called panderos delights.. again any comments?

thanks

What is Grandma Ferdon's Foods? Is it a website, restaurant, or bakery? I've never heard of it before. Do they have a lot of gluten-free goodies?

God bless,

Mariann

Hi! I just posted about this today.

I live near Grandma Ferdon's, and have been to see Julie several times. That place is just amazing. I've tried quite a few different items, and it is all SO good. Julie makes EVERYTHING from scratch, even the peanut butter that she uses to make peanut butter cookies. She only gets in raw, whole ingredients. No preservatives and I also believe that she uses organic non-hormone/antibiotic meats. Also, her kitchen is beautiful and spotless.

Order without hesitation.

I went to their website and it kinda ticked me off  Their "shipping information" is a joke - I don't know where they are *or* how much it costs to ship stuff! You would think that they would at least list some decent contact information... geez! The picture of their food look lovely, but I don't want to sign up for something that will cost $400 to ship. Can someone tell me where these guys are?

Thanks

I also checked their website. They are in Hayward, Wisconsin.

I loaded my cart with a whopping $19.05 worth of foods I wanted to try, and was looking at $19.95 in shipping (under 25lbs), another $19.95 in shipping for each additional 25lbs! I had less than 25lbs in my cart, but still it was doubling my cost. I can't afford that. I realise that they are shipping frozen food, and it had better be packed with some freezer bags to keep it cold at that price!

Just one of the reasons that I don't buy frozen foods online. <_<

Those of you near their location who can pick it up at the store are so lucky! So much of the food looks so good...

God bless,

Mariann

Oh jeeze, that's too bad! I guess I never even thought about the shipping because I just pick it up. I do know that they ship the frozen stuff overnight, that must account for the higher cost. I know that she is talking to some food store chains, maybe one of them will start to carry her stuff and then everyone can get it.

Here is the shipping info:

We have implemented a new shipping program. We will ship up to 25lbs to WI, MN, ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, IA, IL, IN, KY, OH & MI for only $12.95. We will ship to the rest of the contiguous United States for only $19.95 for up to 25 lbs. Your perishable products will be shipped in an insulated container and any of the rest will be packaged as normal. We honestly feel this gives everyone the opportunity to be able to enjoy Grandma Ferdon

I am from Wisconsin, and I order from Grandma Ferdon's all the time! They have excellent pizza, buttermilk bread, and donut holes! I also ordered some gluten-free soaps that are very nice. Some stores also carry Grandma Ferdon's items, too. The owners are very nice and great to deal with. :)

Where is Haywrd Wisconsin - I will be in Minnesota this weekend and if it is close, it would be worth the visit. I will be in the upper North part of Minnesota in a little town called Deer River.

So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

I've noticed with my age and menopause my smell for bread gives me severe migraines and I know this. Its alarming that there are all these fabulous bakeries, sandwich places pizza places popping up in confined areas.Just the other day I suffered a migraine after I got done with my mri when a guy with a brown paper bag walk in front of me and I smelled that fresh dough bread with tuna, I got a migraine when we got home.I hate im that sensitive. Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.
