Was diagnosed about 4 months ago. What is the point of going back for a follow up if there really isn't anything more the GI doc can do except tell you to stay away from Gluten. Can't my regular primary care doctor repeat my bloodwork?

Yes your regular doctor can order the bloodwork. IMHO you don't need follow up unless you are still having issues. Some do like to get reendoed to see how their healing is progressing but not all feel it is needed.
