Most do. If you are in the US, Lea & Perrins is gluten free.

That's what I assumed. Over the Christmas break I ate something at a party and Worcestershire sauce was an ingredient and without even thinking twice I ate it. That explains why I didn't feel the greatest the next few days following the party.

French's and Heinz are also gluten free in the US.

On the contrary, in the U.S. most don't. In fact, I can't name one that does have gluten. Canada is different.

My apologies. I stand corrected.

In the US, Lea & Perrins is gluten-free. The version sold in Canada is made in Canada under licence and uses malt vinegar (the US one has distilled vinegar). It is the same recipe according to L&P--I guess it just calls for "vinegar" without specifying the source or type. I get the good gluten-free stuff with the help of a friend in Michigan.

A great sub is Bragg's Liquid Aminos, maybe you can find it somewhere.

I have a recipe calling for Worcestershire sauce. I am confused with the research on line. Heinz is not gluten free but lea and Perkins is gluten-free in the us. ( both apparently made by Heinz. Is there a gluten-free worchestershire sauce that I can buy in Canada.

Order the American Lea and perkins on amazon?

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:

This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
