Eating Out

new website, www.lonelyplate.org, is gathering reader reviews on gluten-free restaurants,

airlines, Disney and such. Not too much on there yet, but seems like it could be a great

resource, especially for travelers and those new to a particular area (or to celiac disease).

What a wonderful idea. I don't eat out often but every so often I have to... Just this past Monday our teaching team ate out at Black Eyed pea. I had the grilled catfish and rice. And yes, I got sick, but when I am forced to eat out, I pencil "getting sick" into the activities following eating out.

I live just north of Dallas and the gluten free lifestyle is not readily accepted or available unless you shop at Whole Foods or Sprouts...

If anyone lives in this area, please let me know where you eat.
