Gluten Free Bisquick At Publix

For any of you who would like to try this, I know for sure they have it at this store. I think maybe all Publix stores are carrying it now. Of course, we don't have Publix close to me.

If anyone tries it, I'd like to hear your thoughts!

I haven't seen it out anywhere yet! I can't wait to try it! I hope it arrives to this area soon.

I'm going to request it at one of my local grocery stores. They carry the the Betty Crocker gluten free cookie and cake mixes so I'm sure they can get it. I haven't made "Impossible Pies" for at least 25 years but I'll be making them soon.

I found it at the Publix in Prattville, AL. It was $4.50 + a box, but was well worth it. I made pancakes with it and they tasted just like the ones made with "real" bisquick. Also made a cobbler with the crust that rises from the bottom and it was awesome! I bought it a few weeks ago and already need to get another box. I highly recommend it and don't mind paying a little more for something that I am able to buy at a regular store like that.

They have them in the Publix here in Miami. BEST gluten-free pancake mix I've tried yet, they taste like the real thing! I can love the smell of pancakes in the morning again :)

the coffee cake turned out great!! the one downside is that the box is very small. will be costly if the mix is used often.

Okay I'm very jealous of you guys!! I can't find it around here (Lexington, Kentucky)... I've checked Meijer, Walmart, and Whole Foods. Is there anyone on here near Lexington, KY? Have you been able to find it? I want to try it so bad!

      Will definitely keep you posted. We live in Japan and will fly to Australia for the endoscopy end of April so until then, for the next ten weeks, we will just start adding gluten daily. 2 slices of white bread a day is what the guidelines seem to say. But I welcome advice from members here who have done successful gluten challenges. I know they...

One of the things that has become apparent to me is that gluten disorders don't always like to fit into the neat little pigeon hole symptomatic and diagnostic paradigms we have created for them.       Most recent gluten challenge guidelines call for the consumption of at least 10g of gluten (about the amount in about 4-6 slices of wheat-based bread) for at least 2 weeks.  When celiacs have been on gluten free diets for long periods of time, they often find that when they consume a good amount of gluten, they react much more strongly than they did before going gluten free. They have lost all tolerance to the poison they had when consuming wheat products regularly. That is certainly the case with me. A couple of years ago I accidentally consumed a wheat biscuit my wife had made thinking it was a gluten free one and it made me violently ill. So, I mention that as I don't know if your son has started the gluten challenge yet.

I know they are not always successful.    I have also read I should monitor his growth. Is that really a concern for 10 weeks of gluten consumption? He is growing and has always followed his curve but he’s no basketball player at 20-25th centile.
