I was interested in taking a look at them, but when I read that they were pills and not liquid vitamins, I was disappointed. As a result of celiac, my muscles tend to be rigid--and that includes my esophagus, so swallowing is hard. I also have trouble digesting and absorbing pills, so liquid vitamins work best for me. I think it's a good idea, but for many of us with celiac, we have trouble absorbing certain vitamins and minerals but have no trouble absorbing others. This pill treats us all the same so that we'd still have to supplement with extra vitamins or minerals....so I thought, what's the point?

I will take a look at them but unless they are very reasonably priced including shipping I will likely pass. I can find the specific vitamins I need at my local grocery or health food store so if they show up there I might try them if they supplement at the levels I use for the ones I buy already.

edit Just took a look at the website and I will stick with what I already take. At $50 a bottle for 180 tabs and the need to take 6 of them a day for the levels listed on the bottle I will continue using what I already use. What I take now is less expensive and the vitamin levels in the individual vitamins that I need to supplement allow me to only need one a day.

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
