I went to make cookies the other day.. I bought the Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie mix (after checking it for milk..).. I then went to do like I always do.. Add chocolate chips. Hersheys: Milk. Nestle: Milk. Ghuildueris (I can't find the right spelling. But their chips are 70% cacao): Milk. So I settled for peanut butter chips.. But I WANTED chocolate. And I don't like the chocolate chips in the betty crocker mixes (although dairy free was nice..)

So.. Someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeassse help me?! I'll buy in bulk if I have to! I need chocolate chips to add to my cookies! (and the brownies someone linked to the other day ;) )

TIA,

~Padme

Enjoy Life makes chocolate chips that are free of the top 8 allergens, not sure of any other ones though since we are soy free too so that takes away alot of other options. Something else to look for is dark chocolate because a pure one should have no milk added.

Hi Padme,

I'd recommend Elana Amsterdam's cookbook "The gluten-free Almond Flour Cookbook". Not all recipes are dairy free, but she's got some really good gluten-free DF Cookies in that book. Her website Open Original Shared Link may help.

I checked this cookbook out from the library, and I'm considering purchasing it now that I know where to buy almond flour.

We've had the best luck with Enjoy Life chocolate chips, too. Although I'm curious what peanutbutter chips you found that were dairy free - I could never find some when I was looking. :)

I believe Sunspire has DF chips, but not soy free.

Here's another vote for Enjoy Life chocolate chips! :) I love the tiny morsels!

The dark chocolate ones we get are Gluten-free Casein-free and no soy they are not milk chocolate.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
