I have been off of gluten for four months and I am still bloated. I feel 80% better but I am still bloated and gassy. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Lactose intolerant? Do you eat any dairy?

I do eat quite a bit of cheese. Otherwise, I drink almond milk.

I'd suggest cutting out all dairy and see if that helps. I'm convinced based on past reactions that dairy is one of my high risk foods that needs to be avoided at all costs.

I didn't begin to lose the bloating until 6 months grain free.

How did you find out you could no longer have grains? Is there a test or do have to do the elimination diet?

Wy not try the easiest and most obvious cause of bloating first? Before you cut out all grains or anything else? Cut out the dairy for a month and see if it helps. You might be able to add it back after you heal.

You could also try some probiotics. And avoid sugary and starchy foods for a while.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
