  1. Ah, a magic number. Thanks!
  2. I can't have dairy, so cheese is out. No soy/legumes either. I have been getting Hormel Natural Choice Deli Ham for my sandwich. Getting a little tired of it and would like to find something less processed or not at all processed, but I can't find or come up with any ideas. I was told there is a pretty natural Chicken Sausage out there but none of the...
  3. I have eaten too many of the Lundberg's ones. Would be great to find others, but I actually have not seen any. I stay away from corn (most of the time) so far.
  4. I decided to order the DVD Dr Fine has made. Hopefully it is the same stuff as what you guys heard on your "lecture".
  5. Yes, I did a search on the book and saved it. Looks good. Some times I wish I had a proper diagnosis of this though. What isf EnteroLab is wrong...and I never had any anemic problem or weight loss. I dunno, sometimes I feel I don't count when I read about Celiac disease. If you know what I mean. It is very interesting with the genes. I have seen...
  6. I was reading in Dangerous Grains last night and it talked about a typical shape of the face too. Big forhead and narrow chin. Triangle shaped face. My stomach is on the bigger/swollen side, but I have a round rear end and never had the foot padding thingy I don't think. My grandma (who had LOTS and LOTS of stomach problems during her life and eventually...
  7. Yes, cutting out the Legumes made a big difference for me too. I pretty much eat what you eat except I am allergic to nuts, almonds, pears, apples, peaches, strawberries and cherries. Which is a big problem for me now. I never really thought of it that much before I realized I had Celiac/gluten intolerance. Strange thing I seem to do really bad on Avocado...
  8. Okay, thanks!
  9. Yes, look here at this link: Open Original Shared Link Guar Gum is made from the Guar Bean. Making things complicated. It doesn't seem like I always have problames with Xanthan gum. Not that I eat a lot of it at all. I have also seen products with Carob bean/locust bean gum, which also belongs to the Legume family. The Rice Milk I have...
  10. Ack! Sure isn't making things any easier. Yes, I did a search on it and it didn't make me any wizer. I searched Guar Gum a while back and that at least said it is a Legume.
  11. I am not totally clear on how the gene testing works. If you have any of the Celiac or Gluten Intolerance genes do you actually have to have the disease or will you eventually..or how does it work? I am just reading Dangerous Grains and it almost seem to state that yes, you are/will and no, you might not. Seems the doctor behind EnteroLab (Dr Fine)...
  12. You aren't the only one who has said "he". Maybe our dog looks manly. (Nah, she looks pretty girly but not in that grumpy picture.) If we have a red collar on her they say "she", but they were out of red this time. I have another question; I have seen thats ome people have some comment written under their avatar picture, can I have that too some...
  13. In the book Dangerous Grains it is mentioned that elevated liver enzymes is connected to Celiac. (My brother had it for years and they did a bunch of tests and never found the reason why. I think they eventually went down. He isn't diagnosed with Celiac, but he seems to have some symptoms but doesn't wanna have anything to do with it possibly being Celiac...
  14. Haha!! I tried refresh and now it works!!! Thank you! What a silly little thing, but still. It is a "she". Her name is Daisy, she is 3 this spring. German Sherpherd/Labrador Retriver mix. She hates getting her picture taken, so that is why she looks some what grumpy. hehe She is super mellow and a sweetheart. I love her too much I am sure...
  15. I am having troubles changing my avatar picture. Pretty often actually. The old one keeps on coming back instead of the new one. I even delete my avatar so there is none and then upload a new one. It is only 3,9 bytes something and small, just to make sure I am not using something too big, but still, the old avatar picture comes up instead but in a smaller...
  16. Wow, that is cool that your husband went totally gluten free too.
  17. Welcome!!! "As soon as I get back on my feet, I'm down again with something else." I can so relate to those words. and I know what you feel about people not understanding you can't even have a small bite of something and they think you're weird. This is a great place. I haven't been a member for that long and things are very new to me too, but...
  18. I ate Turkey at Thanksgiving and even though it said it was gluten free and didn't look like it had any soy I got sick from it. I tried twice to make sure. I meant to call the company, but never got to it. I am gonna try fresh Turkey next year instead. Thanks for the tip. I have problems with anxiety when glutened/eating anything I am intolerant...
  19. I am a member of a curly hair board since 3 years. If you are really interested in getting advice and help with products and stuff go there. They also sell stuff online (Curlmart) and have the greatest costumer service. They have tons of the top curly hair products out there, not Quidad though, which seems to love wheat in their stuff. I haven't seen that...
  20. Thanks for your replies. I am not sure what to do. Seems it has gotten a little less the last two days (and it was tiny, tiny from starters)...I hate doctors. I would really like to not go again. I think I might wait it out a little bit more to see what happens. Yeah, my periods have never been heavy at all. Maybe a little heavier the last couple...
  21. I got your PM the other day. I haven't been online much at all so I haven't answered it yet, but I will.
  22. Unfortunately I can't have any Casein/Dairy. I am starting to feel I can't eat much these days. I have a lot of allergies to a bunch of fruits and nuts too.
  23. Had no idea Quinoa have a layer on it. Thanks for that info. Those two books are on my list to get.
