  7. Thanks again everyone Guess I need to get to the health food store and see whats available. mine went from 158 prior to celiac diagnoses but is now 271 in 2 years. 19. IF your 5 year old likes fruit, she will be able to try some of the best in the world like mangosteen, duku, sweet white guava and salak. There are plenty of rice dishes and rice noodles too although they may have to tone down the spices for her. Good luck and have a great trip

  21. Had the roughest week in the past 2 years (2 years trying to be gluten-free on the 21st) Have to feel sorry for my wife and I know she feels bad. Glutening #1 On Monday she decided to get a real bagel when I was out, missed some crumbs which got into something I tried to eat. Sick with D and DH for 2 days. Wednesday she tried to make up for it with...

  23. I've never had a reaction to sorghum but most of the flour or products I buy are from Japan and dedicated facilities. Sorghum soy sauce is great by the way. I suspect that the processing equipment as you suggested may cause CC. Millet is another one. If I use the ones form Japan I don't have trouble but some millet item I got in the US caused a reaction...
  24. WOW what a shock. Having met him a few times during my 33 years working for wire services and newspapers, I would agree that he is in the same category as Walter Cronkite. Some folks had said he was even reminiscent of Edward R Murrow. Its a real loss for conscientious journalism!
