  1. Well, the guys were far better tonight! Blake rocked! I also liked Chris S. The other Chris had a good performance, but I don't like him. He reminds me of KFed. I don't know if they look alike or it's the punk factor. I'm sorry to say but I think Sanjaya is going home (unless he gets the cutie vote). And I also think either Brandon or Nicholas is going...
  2. I find I'm not looking forward to Idol nites like last year. Probably because there is no rocker. I hope the guys step it up tonight, I'm not going to sit through another boring nite.

    ARCHIVED Amazed

For the first time last night I didn't feel aprehensive waiting for the tummy problems and the D. I have gotten use to feeling good. I can overeat and feel fine, I can eat junk and feel fine. I never thought I'd ever feel as good as I did before Celiac, but now I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I even think I might be ready to go back to the...
  4. When I had my gall bladder problem it was hit and miss. I would eat something and nothing would happen, I'd eat it the next time and be sick. Although it did end up progressing until I was only eating plain rice.
  5. I also thought gall bladder. It may not even been stones. I found out after I had mine removed that untreated Celiac can cause gall bladder problems and that after going gluten free your body can repair it.
  6. I am the queen of dieters depression. I eat emotionaly, and when I go on a diet I get depressed because I can't "comfort" myself in the manner I'm used to. I haven't had that problem with the gluten free diet, because I can still over eat and still eat goodies that are gluten free. Since you are slim and trying to gain weight I would guess you probably...
  7. That is so great! I have felt so bad for so many people who have had to fight with there doctors. I have been so luck. I went in a GP had my gall bladder checked out, then removed. That didn't work so my regular GP sent me to a specialist who's first thing to do was run blood tests. My only complaint was the delivery of the results. She called and said...
  8. Guy- I like Blake Chris, S. and Phil, although Sanjaya is a cutie and I believe he'll get votes for that, I don't think he is quit good enough as far as the "whole package" goes. Girls are hard for me, they all seem alike. That's the problem I had with Cathrine last year, she didn't seem any different to me than any other pretty girl with a good voice...
  9. How about Nucoa. When we tried a casein free diet with my daughter that was what we used. I personally don't have knowledge about the gluten, but I have seen it listed as OK.
  10. Last night was so much better! I'm surprised, because it's usually the girls who bore me. This just might be an interesting year.
  11. Suddenly running with the bulls doesn't seem so bad.
  12. I became a big fan two years ago because of Bo Bice, and then last year because of Chris Daughtry. I love the rock and roll. So, I must say I'm not very excited this year. Although I'm still watching it because Blake Lewis is interesting with his style, and I also like Chris Sligh, he is funny and has a great voice. Even though I like these guys I was...

    ARCHIVED House

I've only just recently started watching House. Was he a jerk before the leg problem, or has the show not disclosed this. I had assumed that he wasn't as much as a jerk before, and that Wilson was his friend then, and has stuck by his despite the bad attitude. Can anyone clue me in?
  14. It is so sad that there seems to be a odd rating system in our country. If you have a "note" from the doctor your diet is ok. If you want to go on an extream fad diet (healthy or not) it's ok, but don't even think of doing something that you find healthy for yourself, because that is outside of the box. I am so sorry your friend treated you like that...
  15. That sucks, I just glutened myself cooking noodles. I tasted mine to see if they were done, and without thinking (oh yeah) I tasted their's to see if they were done. Hope the food "stays in".
  16. It may not have anything to do with Celiac. When I was in my teens and twenties I would get colds that would knock me out, but as I've gotten older they have become almost nothing. I can't imagine trying to take care of kids with the colds I use to get, but I had my kids in my early thirties and my colds don't slow me down much (unless I want them too ...
  17. I like to mix my fried eggs with grits and butter.
  18. Did you have your gall bladder remove, because if you did, your bowl movements may never be the same.
  19. I've been wondering the same thing, I've been gluten-free for three weeks, and am still so tired. I've had to start messuring my recover by a different scale. I like Sudoku puzzles, and my time has suddenly improved on them (I'm thinking clearer). I had to give up logic puzzles because I couldn't figure them out anymore, so I'm going to try then again...
  20. My mom is 1 of 11 kids, my dad 1 of 5, all whom have had kids, grand kids, and for some, great grandkids. I am the only Celiac, the only one with any stomch problems. I thought this stuff ran in families, or is that only sometimes?
  21. Oh, man now I want Pizza Hut pizza
  22. Thank-you.
  23. I called Vics two weeks ago and was told all of Vics products were gluten-free.
  24. Lol, it's nice to know that there are others like me. Before all of this meat veggies and fruit were to go with my gluten carb, Pasta and breads were my comfert food and dinner was usually something made with a cream of soup, and/or had a dinner bread. Although the Kinnikinnik bread is ok, it just doesn't work for my comfort food: PB & J on Wonder...
  25. Does anyone know if Mary Kay products are gluten free?
