ARCHIVED Glutino Frozen Cheese Duo Pizza
angel-jd1 replied to mamatide's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I thought the pizza was "OK". It wasn't the best I have had and it wasn't the worst I have had. Needs more sauce and more cheese. I did add my own peperoni. I would buy it again if it was on sale. However, probably wouldn't pay the 4.50 they were wanting when it wasn't on sale. -Jessica -

ARCHIVED It's Hitting Me...
angel-jd1 replied to bakinghomesteader's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Richard is correct. Most dippin dots flavors are fine except the obvious ones like cookies and cream. Check out their website they have lots of good info on it. Cotton candy is a good option. I know it is hard right now, but try to look at the things you CAN have instead of what you can't. It helps As far as the hubby goes, I think that family members... -

I agree with Tiffany, research in the last few years has shown that vanilla extract is NOT a problem. The distillation process of alcohol (even if the alcohol was grain derived) removes any worry for us. Vanilla and vanilla extract are (in most cases) fine and nothing to worry ourselves about. -Jessica

ARCHIVED Ice Creams..
angel-jd1 replied to Jix Hedgehog's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Brendygirl- Research in the last few years has changed that info on vanilla/alcohol. The vanilla was once thought to be a problem because of the alcohol possibly being a grain alcohol used. However, research now shows that the distillation process of it would eliminate the worry so therefore most vanillas should be fine. Hope that helps you. -Jessica -
