  1. I could understand if I stayed small, but I grew, so maybe I was just a "late bloomer" like everyone said.... I used to be 5'6" but now that I am 50, I think I am closer to 5'5".
  2. At least you can have Reese Peanut butter cups! I am pretty sure they are gluten free.
  3. The blood test may be negative, but that doesnt mean you are not gluten intolerant, or have celiac for that matter. Especially if you have had a low gluten diet for a while. I had a low gluten diet and I have tested negative in the blood test and the enterolab test except for a gluten intolerent genes and malabsorption, but I had all of your symtoms...
  4. I wonder if any of you had the same experience. I was very small when I was young. I started high school at 4'9" and 80lb. I am now 5'5. I grew when I turned 16, and also started my period midway through my 16th year. My sister is 3 years younger and was always the same size as me. Could this be the reason I took so long to grow? My mother mentioned...
  5. My guess it was the french frys, I got really sick from them once. Was the ice cream vanillia? I know a lot of chocolate ice cream has gluten, maybe the chocolate sauce... So hard to tell, but I know how you feel! I hate the aching to me that is worse then the D. Sorry it happened. Hope you feel better.
  6. I just had mine done. The prep is the worse. I felt a little nauseated after I drank the first little bottel they gave me. I had mine on Monday so was able to goof off sunday. I felt fine with just jello, etc until around 2:00. Once I started cleaning out....I just laid around. The actual proceedure I felt nothing (except they put an IV in and...
  7. It is nice to know I am not the only one...I thought I was strange! Well I probubly am, but at least I am not the only one....
  8. They carry Red Bridge which is a gluten-free beer at whole foods. I am not much of a beer drinker (prefer wine) but on hot days I like one. I tried Red Bridge, I perfer light beers and it is not, but it taste like beer! A little darker then I like, but nice to have. My husband drinks beer a lot and he said it was pretty good.
  9. I bake gluten free rolls in a muffin tin, then slice thin and bake....you can put seasonings on them before baking. They are good with cheese and things like that.
  10. I use Loreal Feria - I checked once and it didnt have wheat... but I do know you need to check every time.
  11. According to what people say on this site sometimes you have to eat wheat for as long as 2 months to get an accurate test! Then it might not be accurate, depending on if the biopsy the part that has damage! I am like you, I had major symptoms I attributed to IBS. I went gluten free, and my IBS symptoms only return when I have eaten questionable things...
  12. My daughter had the fatigue, deppresion and constipation. It took her about 30 days on the diet to start seeing major imporovement on those symptoms. Stick with it! Even if your blood test comes back negative, you might still want to try the diet. A lot of us have negative blood tests. I had joint pain, but not swelling. It has gotten better.
  13. Thanks RAchel, guess I am still trying to find out wh if y my Fecal Antigliadin IgA was 9 (Normal Range <10 Units) and Fecal Antitissue Transglutaminase IgA were 6 Units (Normal Range <10 Units) which are all in the normal range with enterolaab and yet I still have a very strong reaction when I accidently consume gluten. I know the diet is...
  14. This is the web site where I read what I put above. Open Original Shared Link
  15. This is sort of on the same subject. I recently read this and I am not sure what it means. Feb 07 - IgM reactions. I've only just heard about this group and can't tell you much. IgM is a class of antibodies found in circulating body fluids. IgM antibodies are the first antibodies to appear in response to an initial exposure to an antigen. Apparently...
  16. I love them, there are 3 different flavors - costco sells a package of 6 very cheap! I always put vegtables and sometimes cooked chicken in with them and they are a perfect lunch/dinner. Very easy. I have not had a reaction to any of the flavors.
  17. I just tried them last week too! They were good. Better then the mix I tried (got at whole foods also) Before this we use to get Pizza with tomatoes, mushrooms and hamburger. So that is what I tried. It was good. Not quite the same, but good.
  18. I think it takes awhile, I think it is different for someone. It is harder then you think to totally remove all gluten. In the beginning I would be doing great for days and all of the sudden....bathroom attack... 5 months later, most the time I do fine, but I am not as sensitive as a lot of people on the site. Try to think of this as a healthier way...
  19. I agree, Meredith will live, after all it is "Grey's Anatomy" I love the show too.

I have eaten there and I love there gluten free menu. I also miss chinese food. I bet they would make you gluten free fried rice.. they have yummy brown rice. I dont have small children anymore but I would say it isnt children unfriendly... There are always children in our resturant.
  21. It is interesting to hear what everyone eats!
  22. I make my own muffins, there are a lot of gluten free recipies and I am sure you can find recipies to meet your other reqirements. I always add fruit and nuts to the mixes. Bannana, crandberries, orange juice and zest, rasiens, apple sauce and nuts. I also try to use gluten free flours that have fiber and usually add ground flax seeds. I also eat lean...
