  2. well as per the docs orders im now gluten-free for 2 months (except for the 4 days leading up to the dermatologist) im also dealing with a soy allergy so all i can find in the house that has gluten and wheat and no soy is hotdogs and kraft dinner, so this will be my lunch and snacks for the next week and we shall see! i am noticing that their is soy in breads...

  4. hi try chiante's on wyte i here that they have a gluten-free pasta line up, as well greek food is great becuase for the most part most of the sauces are vinager and oil. BP's is a good alternative just let the staff know so they dont cross contiminate, you can have the natchos their. their is a mexican resteruant on wyte ave as well that has lots of corn...
  5. thankfully i dont get this everyday, only once in while, my health has been much better since i went gluten-free in feb, but once in a while i still get the puffy itchy hands once in a while and im sure it is related to something that i eat. i cant wait to get in to the GI and allergist may be they will have some answeres for me, thanks
  6. i think im goint to go insane, the only thing i ate out of sorts yesterday was a peice of ham and when i read the ingrediants (after i ate it of course) their is soy in it for flavor and the night before last (so friday night) i had a chicken breast after i ran that was also flavored with soy. now i had no reaction friday night, but yesterday after lunch...
  7. well thanks for the input, i started reading labels and much to my surprice all my salad dressings that i have been eating have soybean oil in them!! so im thinking that this is the reason i still have not been feeling well, im also taking a lactaid now when i have milk, cheeze or ice cream and seeing if this helps, i feel better the last 2 days, didnt realize...

  17. hi everyone, i have a question, ive never done a marathon, i run for fitness and because after 4 kids i like to be lean, but since xmas ive been sick and had major weight loss, i was only 109lbs (5ft4) to start but my weight dropped to 97lbs by the end of jan, (one of the reasons we are looking into celiacs, so many others too!) i know am up to 102lbs again...
