  1. Hey, everyone, I'm fine and thanks for thinking of me. I am quite far away from the area and didn't feel anything. I do have good friends in the area, but heard from them and they are fine too. We are all very grateful. The news is horrible. Sherry
  2. Carla, that is the same thing I posted a link for a few months back. I think it is valuable. I tried it for awhile but like everything it takes time. I have another one I like to do that integrates faith but it isn't in a free download to learn like this one is and doesn't use the acupressure points. Sherry
  3. Does anyone know what are the best recommended tests for checking for all areas of absorption? I am having a lot of problems with this too, and want to make sure that I am covering the bases. Also what tests are insurance covered? I've had several but insurance kicked them out.
  4. Extra vitamin C and also magnesium works for me as well, and most fiber type things don't work for me. Lately I have been trying a morning veggie smoothie, and it was really helping for the first several days but not today. So I need to observe for awhile longer. I agree that some other foods can make it worse, and there have been some good suggestions...
  5. The iodine test Dr K suggests, where it is supposed to last 24 hours on the skin? Well on my palms it lasts about 4 hours. I wonder if he puts it in a specific area of skin? Sherry
  6. Candace, I reacted to an IV that I think was glutathione, but I need to confirm that. Whatever it was, it had tiny amounts of soy in it. So I am not sure if that was the issue. In ART, I tested okay for IV glutathione, but not oral or cream. My LLMD said, "No IV glutathione" but was giving me other IV's so I think it was because I reacted to it when he...
  7. Rachel, Do you know what test is reliable for learning if your cysteine is high? I tested low...but wonder if you have to check in a certain way. Sherry
  8. Nope but I watched one--well tried not to but... Here in China there is no such thing as privacy; I was scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound and was sitting in the row waiting. Seeing woman strip, no sheet no nothing....It was very traumatic!! Not sure if they use the same equipment in the USA but here it is like a big machine arm thing, with...
  9. Hmm, the combo of pumpkin seeds and raw pineapple as a cleansing diet, 3-10 days is just for tapeworm. Pumpkin seeds--the thing gorges on that, it caused paralysis and it lets go for awhile. The bromelein in pineapple kills it. But he might have a hard time staying on these two things long enough to kill it. Sherry
  10. Sure, April, the recipe is pretty vague. I am still learning the portion for just one person as this makes too much and it is only good to use right away. 4-5 inch pieces of: carrot, cucumber, bitter melon 2 ribs of celery 1/2 green pepper 1 apple My Chinese friend soaks these for 15 minutes in salt water (to clean and detox I guess), then...
  11. Yes, both. Diflucan has been fine, not as effective as lamisil for yeasts. Flagyl...well, always an upset stomach with it. And herxing. Fatigue, brain fog and stuff. I almost always pulsed it, two days a week. Once I did 2 weeks, my doc thought I would push through the symptoms. I did, it got much better, but was pretty bad initially. My hubby and...
  12. Good Rachel. Hate to see you have to reschedule.
  13. Open Original Shared Link Now I wonder if it works on lyme??? Okay, that's probably all you ever wanted to know about bitter melon! LOL I figure it is supposed to work to regulate blood sugar, help the liver, boost the immune system, get rid of worms and help with infections. So it probably will help and likely won't hurt. Sherry
  14. Open Original Shared Link Looks like it can lower fat stored in the body as adipose tissue....as well as control blood sugar and regulate insulin. Hmm, I think my morning veggies slushes are taking on more importance....
  15. Other sites mention that it really lowers blood sugar and is used to treat diabetes.
  16. Its weird to see all my posts together...but that's the nature of living in another time zone from you all. Rachel so sorry about the car...that would be a nightmare for me too. Okay, I had another allergic reaction after eating today--and this time it was not lima beans. I ate roasted lamb, fresh green beans, and then strawberries with homemade goat...
  17. Yes, I am interested as well. I wonder if Dr. E tested this on me when she was looking for binders. Sherry
  18. Welcome, Calicoe. Most of here have increased sensitivities, although not all are celiac-related like on the rest of the forum. It sounds to me like you could be celiac, definitely are gluten sensitive. Increased sensitivities seems to be a pattern for some celiacs, and for many it is temporary and secondary to the healing process of celiac. Seems...
  19. Thanks. I plan to look further, maybe on the weekend. I am feeling a bit better and am trying to get my high stack of work down a bit. Sherry
  20. Julie, thanks so much for posting this. I found it really helpful. I was surprised about the iodine! I am supposed to do that every day on my hands but keep forgetting. I am so curious as to why that is so very important! And inspired. My rubbing on my hands only lasts a couple of hours. Hmmm. Maybe I'll do it several times a day and see what...
  21. Hi Jin, I agree...just pop in. We miss you. And no worries about the column. Besides around here we have so many lyme brains...that we have to repeat things a lot to get them. So asking about something is normal even when we aren't behind reading 30 pages!!! I also hope the budgeting works. It seems like if you could take one step in your plan...
  22. Hmm, sounds like it isn't the best option. I read it helps but only temporarily. Bummer, was hoping for another option. Sherry
  23. Maybe just leave it out; my friend told me using it once a week in the mixture is adequate. When I talk to her next I'll ask about a substitute. Sherry
  24. Julie, I think I'll try this morning veggie blend for a few days because today as soon as I took it I had a BM and much more fully emptying than usual. I figure that alone should help the detox. Meanwhile I'll keep you posted if I start feeling better. Carla, it is a little like a slush in consistency, and rather bland. Wayne says we should add a little...
