    As a kid I vomitted so much. Also the big D. No one could figure out what was wrong with me. I vomited so much that as an adult I NEVER vomit. My body is so over it. At least that is what I think

    Oh my gosh, curly fries, Me too! I went off gluten first just to see the difference. Then I cut out dairy alot. When I ate cheese it totally stopped traffic. But when I had ice cream or butter, the water slide is open for business. My grandmother said "Cheese binds you up" Now that I am gluten-free/cf my intestines have to totally adjust....

    HI, Her absorption is normal now that does not mean it will stay that way. If she is gluten intolerant then enough damage may not have occured yet. I would not wait untill it does.     Can you be more specific on the IgA test? Is it total IgA, anti-gliadin IgA, anti-tTg IgA? Without this info it is hard to figure out what you mean. An IgE reaction is a traditional allergy reaction. You can be negative with an IgE reaction and still have Celiac. Celiac is an intolerance. Different antibodies are involved.     Hi nora, There are two types of DQ2 genes: DQ2.5 and DQ2.2 DQ2.5 is known as the Celiac gene. It is DQ A0501 B0201. People call this the DQ 2 gene.     Blood tests can give false negatives. I do not know what your dr. will want to do. You could insist on a biopsy,but that may show nothing. Or you could go glutten free and see if that helps.     You have both celiac genes and improved on the diet. I would get the promethesus lab results. I would go on the gluten free diet. Stick with it for longer than 3 months.     I've read, someone correct me if I am wrong, that celiacs are more likely to be IgA deficient. If your child gets total Iga serum tests done, and it comes back negative, then they check the IgG levels. I would definately check on this one Also did they run the anti-EMA test?

    Hello everyone, Thank you. I gave up coffee already and went to green tea, but I think caffeine may not be good for me cause I start feeling bad while drinking it. I eat whole grain long rice.
