Whoaaaaaaaaa thx Bev! Today I'm reduced to reading and typing @ stoplights and checkout lines. Restocking fridge etc. (Oh and got guitar back from repair! Sounds fantastic if I do say so myself! ) <and I do> Ptui to the tree! It always seemed weird I'd never gone to Yosemite. But I think it's the crowds. (Right after I post about... -

Extra thought on this Susan - isn't it possible it's actually an indication of how normal your health & immune system have become? You gotta be the healthiest one in Rville. My brain is good but over the weekend I actually hurt myself playing football (well, just playing catch really) w/ an 8yr old, then again playing frisbee w/ her, and yes, I somehow... -

I wish I had an easier time explaining it. Anyone w/ a computer geek in the house can make THEM read my post and then show anyone. PC talk should be same room, one keybd/mouse. Never again "lose" a post! Teach the dingos to shampoo!! But seriously - I've wondered SO much about why I went years w/out any regular sickness, while... -
Hey thanks Meemsy !! I haven't been to a Ranch99 in a long time, and never often. Used to go by one in Milpitas regularly, but can't quite remember *why*! Oh wait I bet it was a rush-hour off-freeway shortcut!! I was in SJ yesterday, but now back again in (ugh)Phoenix. I NEED TO MOVE ASAP!!!!!! Next time I'm there I'll give Ranch99 a...

OMG!!!!! I can barely believe this!!!!! :o I finally hooked up my stereo and was checking radio reception when some station said "11th caller gets 4 passes to the Strawberry Music Festival" and I called the # and actually WON!!!! WHAT A MONTH I'M HAVING!!!! I've heard of the festival, and even tho I used to go to a cabin in Strawberry, AZ (awesome... -

D'oh!! Now i just posted on TickleMe thread and found that for whatever crazy reason, it DIDN'T do that "in-between page" i've been talking about re: lost posts & [bACK] button uselessness!!! C'mon FORUM !!!! A little consistency please!!!!!! Oh and i MUST say - it is heartwarming to see a more normal sized list of... -

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh-KAY! I did verify that I have an easy solution to this "lost post" biz. Avatar now shows IE [bACK] button, and the little downward-facing-dog; NO NO i meant triangle!! That little triangle enables us to skip the 'in-between' page, which is what makes simply hitting [bACK] so useless in a "lost post" situation. Go ahead ... -

Will do!!! I suppose most here use microsoft's dreaded IE for browsing so I'll test my "skip back 2 pages" theory w/ that today. <please no more mentioning that the [back] button doesn't work!!! THIS is about how to get around THAT> Wish I was confident that this "Drop-Down Box" pic will be easily seen/understood at avatar size. Maybe... -

Mmmm-hmm, but my "solution" post exists only because hitting the [bACK] *button* will never work. In between the page where [ADD REPLY] is clicked & the post on thread next-page-seen, there's a redirecting/"please stand by" page. Drop-down box of pages last visited allows *skipping* the in-betw page, and going right to what someone meant to post. ... -

OH!OH!OH! This is where I think using that drop-down list of prev sites - attached to [bACK] button - saves EVERYTHING!! I've done same on mine, when I think it's lost, but b00m there it all is. No one checked when I last posted on saving all 'lost' postable portions? -

Great Googly-Moogly so much to say! Lisa! A couple/few weeks ago there was some IV talk. I remember thinking it should happen. If not then, probably before long if things didn't get better. IMHO, it's the right way to go. Just another step in the journey. You can and you will get better. I've been "pooping in" ( ) here and there to try to... -

Whoa whoa whoa!! That is extreme overkill! I'm curious about what book would say such a thing and when it was written. This isn't some sort of IMHO from me either. I saw Stanford's Head of Gastroenterology, Dr. Gary Gray, (who's also the top medical advisor for our counterpart, Celiac. org), and he wanted me to have HALF of ONE slice of bread... -

ARCHIVED What Are Your Favorite Gluten Free Products?
tom replied to momandgirls's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Cereals: For kids, Gorilla Munch (or is it Crunch?) For us, Erewhon gluten-free 'fake' Rice Krispies That Erewhon tho - they have a 'wheat-free' version w/ a painfully similar box, I'm sure confusing many who don't know there are both. Do the products need to be things that normally HAVE gluten? Because for me, I'll take smoked salmon over most... -

tom replied to ellie-kate's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Hi Ellie_kate, It's a tough call. It certainly *could* be celiac. I don't know anything about what else it could be. Except that it IS something. That 'call it a syndrome' Dr's attitude is bs. (Preachin' to the choir huh?) There's another recent thread discussing a very similar situation. Have u seen it? Part of that thread is that many Drs will... -

Does this sound like 'alien baby'? (Can't believe I've typed that sentence) Open Original Shared Link He's new to gluten-free (started 6/19) and scared. No one has responded to his post yet and I only wish I knew what to say. -

Sounds pretty sweet! I don't think my SIL ever rented hers out. She was a guide too for the trips. Sooooo many bear stories, omg! Renting must be awesome. How big is a deposit on a healthy llama anyway? Does Visa offer automatic insurance? -

Aw dang!!! I thought it was the set-up for a joke! 1st guess is native to different regions way down south there. And I'm pretty sure alpacas don't get quite as big as llamas. (LOL "don't quote me on that" !!) -

part B Yay! There's a band? I've thought all along you were in a choir! Did the word "choir" mutate while I was out? I always talk to kids like they're short adults. Not vocab-wise, but throwing some words in they may not know about, where the context helps a lot. I have SUCH fun w/ kids! I know I know - easy to just be fun... -

part one Hi Sarah! I remember first going off corn, and the inevitable "wth! it's in THIS *TOO* !!". It's pretty tough to get used to how wide-spread corn-based ingreds are. re: me voting LOL Hehe Claire I think you weren't here when I brought up how I'd NEVER get to vote!
