  1. They don't have allergen warnings on the label, so they would likely be naturally gluten-free.
  2. Did you know that iodine can also trigger DH in some people? Since you are so strict with your diet, my thought is that iodine could be your issue, especially because potato chips are usually salty, and most salt includes iodine supplementation. If this is the case then you may need to avoid sea food, seaweed, iodized salt, etc.
  3. From a doctor's standpoint you would need to eat 2 slices of wheat bread daily for at least 2 weeks before having a new endoscopy done, then have positive results, before they would diagnose you with celiac disease. A positive tTG test is ~98% accurate though, so it is very likely that you have it.
  4. It is definitely possible that you had false negative results. To be re-tested you'd need to eat gluten daily for 6-8 weeks before a blood panel for celiac disease.
  5. Thank you for sharing, as I've not heard of this brand before.
  6. Welcome to the forum! If having a test that shows you that you should be gluten-free isn't necessary, then you could also just go gluten and dairy-free again for several months to see if your symptoms go away again, as you seemed to have good effects from this diet in the past. If gluten is causing some of your issues, then it is likely that you...
  7. I live in a mixed home with regard to gluten, and have been able to do so without issues for over 25 years. Here is some more info that might help:
  8. Welcome to the forum. Here is a list of Jamieson's gluten-free products: https://www.jamiesonvitamins.com/collections/all/gluten-free
  9. I have not tried that brand, but one of my all-time favorites would be the Authentic Food Brand, and they are one of our sponsors here.
  10. Welcome to the forum! How long before your blood test did you stop eating gluten? If it was only a few days, or possibly even a few weeks, the tests might still record some level of antibodies, though the results may be lower than they otherwise would have been, had you continued with gluten. Perhaps the most important question is, did any of your...
  11. Interesting that you mention this, but for at least 5 years of my life I had a miserable time dealing with plantar warts, and it was around the time I got diagnosed with celiac disease. I believe they are due to the HPV virus, which is very common in adults, but I had them treated several times, including surgery and an experimental drug called DNCB, but...
  12. The blood count issue sound like it might be separate from celiac disease, but be sure that your diet is 100% gluten-free:
  13. If I were you I would examine my diet very closely for anything you might have added recently. Do you eat in restaurants? If so, this is the most common source of contamination. You may also want to keep a food diary for a while to see if you can find a connection with something you are eating and your symptoms.
  14. I agree with @trents and if I were in your shoes I would follow your doctor's advice and try a gluten-free diet for a few months and if your symptoms go away I would consider myself as having celiac disease. Here is some info that may be helpful:
  15. They've been around for decades, and I've not seen any reported problems with contamination issues. They are also a sponsor here.
  16. One of my main celiac disease symptoms before I was diagnosed was pain in my middle- to lower-right side, associated with lots of gurgling and bloating in that area.
  17. Let us know how it turns out!
  18. Not to be alarmist, but we did an article a while back about potential gluten used in certain oral prostheses and dental appliances that are made with MMA, so this may be a concern:
  19. The biopsies for celiac disease would need to have been done in your duodenum and not your stomach, and only they could answer whether or not they did this, but it sounds like they did not since they mentioned the need to do this.
  20. Just so you understand, Pfizer not guaranteeing this drug is gluten-free does not mean that there is gluten in the drug. Looking at the ingredients that are listed in the drug, it's unlikely there is any gluten in it. It would be a mistake not to take any drug prescribed by your doctor due to the lack of such a guarantee by the maker, as they are just...
  21. Did your nurse say that any medications you are currently taking could cause a positive tTG test result? If so, which medication? Again, the tTG test is very specific for celiac disease, and it is unfortunate that they did not also take biopsies for celiac disease when you did your upper GI. You may want to discuss with your doctor whether you...
  22. Ask your doctor, but you may be able to go gluten-free now, and then go back on gluten and eat 2 slices of wheat bread daily for at least 2 weeks before your endoscopy.
  23. Will they schedule an endoscopy for you? That would be the normal next step, but in some countries if your tTG results are 5-10x the positive celiac level, they diagnose it using only blood test results.
  24. I'm passing along some sad news in the celiac community. I met him Dr, Gray ~22 years ago when they help an annual Stanford Celiac Disease Conference: https://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2023/02/gary-gray-obit.html
  25. Did you not read through this thread? That is exactly what @SillyMe83 reported:
