Your normal foods you eat may have changed it's ingredients, where it was made or someone purchased a different brand 2. You may have developed another food...
  2. Just how gluten free is his diet? Have you checked all his medications, his toothpaste, shampoo and everything he eats and drinks. Are you making sure his food is cooked in gluten free pans, doesn't use a toaster that has had glutened bread in it? Does he have his own peanut butter and jelly or is he getting contaminated with other gluten food? Is his food...

Mainly gluten free wont' do it. Try going gluten free to see if the rash goes away.
  5. I see two possiblities: 1. Dairy products might be the problem. You get so much and your body can't handle it yet. Maybe stay off dairy a few months before adding it back into your diet. 2. Nightshade products since you also reacted to the meal with the salsa. You could try a food/symptoms journal for awhile to see if you can track a pattern. Everone...

  7. Can someone pm the name of the company so I know not to suggest them, or just half the name. lol We really need a thread to list this type of thing. Is there one?
  8. I only buy my frozen. Haven't had any that are dry and icky. Our store can't keep it on their shelves so it's as fresh as can be. I'm off to make some coffee and try their lemon muffins.
  9. I think the first actual "gluten free" food I purchased was a rice pizza crust online. But it was about 3 years after I had gone gluten free. I just ate regular food from the grocery store before that purchase. You may need to cut out dairy and soy for a few months while you intestines heal. Once I did this for awhile I was able to add them back without...
  10. My dh thinks food is just fuel. Not me, I've been gluten free for years and still a foodie. Make all my favorite foods gluten free with no problem.
  11. I picked up some Udi's white bread this week. Anyone else notice that the loaf is bigger (taller)? I was shocked at the size when I went to make a sandwich.
  12. Thanks for the tip!
  13. Lisa, Xanthan gum or the dairy you put on the bread.
  14. Isn't that cool. Still think it should not have had oats in it.
  15. Welcome to the site. Udi's bread for sandwiches Against the Grain baguettes for your french bread fix and their rolls for your croissants fix (great pizza crust too) Schar's table crackers for your saltine fix Udi's bread, just have to say that again! It is unbelievable.

  18. Who was their research person? Need to fire them since they have gluten free items with oats. Too many people react to the gluten free oats to make it worth their trouble.
  19. Back from the store. They only had Udi's white bread on the shelf. I took all but two of them. They maybe getting a delivery today or tomorrow with the multigrain. May have to go back! I picked up their lemon and their blueberry muffins. I've had the blueberry before, very good. Hope the lemon is too.

  22. I emailed Target to ask about their Archer Farms Sausage. They answered within a few hours. Since I didn't have the exact name of the sausage they couldn't tell me. Just know that Target will answer if you have a question. They do not answer in general because they know ingredients change so often.

  24. Have you noticed any change in his moods? Skin color is a good indication, especially if other people are noticing. Also make note if there is a change in how much insulin he is needing. Level of energy also. Any skin itchiness that has gone away? It's hard if he's not having the bowel problems. Such a good indicator because it's so noticeable.
  25. lm, Isn't funny how such a small, ugly looking, expensive loaf of bread can bring so much happiness to life! Even the ends are good.
