  1. Can you try taking it before bed?
  2. I was looking around for some more information on this but could only find her website. I was wondering why the newspaper didn't have an article.
  3. Beth, Thanks for the cake review. I use to make this all the time back in the gluten age. I should try it again. So glad your Holidays went well being gluten free. My family wants to me make the same dinner next year (minus the new cheese cake recipe I tried!).
  4. Ok, I got the link to work once by removing the space between 'gluten' and 'free'.
  5. If this is Bob's Red Mill products you are talking about, I have yet to find any of their products to my taste. ICK ICK ICK But that's a personal taste opinion.
  6. What brand name of lipstick is this?
  7. We need a photo of this guy so we'd know him if (when!) he moves on to our area of the country!
  8. You can have celiac disease or be gluten intolerant with all tests even showing negative results. You can go gluten free at anytime. The sooner you do the sooner you will feel better. Isn't it nice to know that it's not all in your head?! Welcome to the gluten free world.
  9. Open Original Shared Link
  10. It's well worth the trouble of being gluten free! I am so glad for you and your famliy.
  11. This site says they might contain wheat protein. Open Original Shared Link But some sites say it's under the Kraft brand and gluten free. You might want to call the company and ask. I do know I use to buy these but have been passing them up the last few years. I'm wondering if I found they glutened me.
  12. Yum, thanks for telling us!
  13. Plain meat, veggies and fruits are naturally gluten free. Stick with those to lower the cost. Beans are great to fill out your menu.
  14. Itsallgood, Have you posted under 'Doctors' a requested for a doctor in your town/area? If you post your town and state there you might find other celiacs in your area that know of a doctor who understand celiac disease. Much easier hunting there. So glad to hear your gluten free Christmas went well!
  15. I've forgotten all the German I once knew. Anyone know if the ingredients are gluten free? These came directly from Germany and do not contain USA required labels. These are the real ones that have the milk chocolate outside and white chocolate inside the egg shells with the toy inside. Zutaten: Vollmilchschokolade 47% (Zucker, Vollmilchpulver, Kakaobutter...
  16. A GI who really understand celiac disease would be good but any doctor who understand celiac disease is wonderful. Post your town and state under 'Topic Title' to see if anyone knows of a good doctor for you to see in your area.
  17. Jason, You will do fine once you heal. You have come a long way and you can do this. Hang in there. I know you can do this.
  18. What a wonderful holiday gift!
  19. I love the idea of keeping leftovers first instead of after!!!
  20. So sorry for the bad roast!!!
  21. Sounds to me like they were baked too long. I'll have to try making cookies out of one of their cake mixes. I know their chocolate chip cookie mix says to bake the cookies 8 to 10 minutes. And at 10 minutes they are crunchy.
  22. When I gave up eating gluten I decided to learn how to prepare my favorite foods or to find gluten free substitues that I loved. This has helped me. I do not mind being gluten free. I had Thanksgiving and Chrismas dinner at my house. No one complained that everything was gluten free. I would think you will be able to make all your favorite holiday items...
  23. I use regular cookbooks and just replace the gluten free items. Sorry I don't know any good gluten free cookbooks. I'm sure after the holidays plenty of people will give you suggestions for cookbooks.
  24. I think the one thing that will help you is you know what caused this, you know it will pass and you know how to avoid it in the future. A hot bath and a good/hot book might help with the irritability.
