  1. Let us know if you liked the cinnamon buns. My local health food store will order them if I ask. So far they've gotten in both breads and the blueberry muffins.
  2. I am thankful that by tomorrow at 7pm I will be done with what I have to do for Christmas. The dishwasher will be going, the trash outside and I will be reading one of my Black Dagger Brotherhood (by JR Ward) books with my feet up. We celebrate on Christmas Eve and Christmas day is a day of rest and leftovers.
  3. I'm coming to sample! Sound excellent. Put your feet up. You've done enough.
  4. I love Vicki's ideas. Just convert her ideas to gluten free items. Here's her Christmas tree cheese appetizer: Open Original Shared Link And Pioneer Woman is wonderful. Watch it because you can get lost on her website. There are gluten free recipes in her Tasty Kitchen site: Open Original Shared Link
  5. Just because you do not think other family members do not have a problem with gluten does not mean they don't. This gluten problem can have no symptoms. It may show up years later with IBS, colitis, skin problems, bowel cancer or anemia (or many other problems). I sure my dad has celiac disease. He'll be 90. I've cleaned up the toilet after he's used it...
  6. Giving up all dairy and soy for awhile will help you heal faster. Once healed you can start adding the dairy and soy back into your eating habits. Bowel habits, isn't it funny how no one every talk about this subject except on here? Once healed is does clear up. Of course it also returns if you get glutened or if you have other food allergies/intolerance...
  7. My dh smoked for 40+ years. He quit by using Lame Advertisement. He had no problems taking it and no problems quiting smoking either. No telling what they put in the tobacco. It's certainly not just tobacco.
  8. I feel I can not expect others to cook gluten free. Friends or Family. It is way to hard and they will not be able to avoid the cross contamination. I dropped the 'poor me, I can't eat that' syndrome awhile back. I decided to enjoy and focus on the friendship and not the food. I bring something I can eat and always travel with crackers. I'm a foodie so...
  9. I love hot cocoa, without the sugar. I take a spoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, with a little water in a pan. Bring to a boil and stir, then add my milk. Heat until hot.
  10. Kate, Did you go to your Cooking Club yet? How did it go and what recipe did you bring?
  11. Evie4, Try this skinless potsticker recipe listed here: https://www.celiac.com/gluten-free/index.ph...amp;hl=skinless
  12. Never heard of this drink before. tfs
  13. Robert, I am so proud of you for checking! If it was me, no, I would not be able to use it. I break out in skin rashes if a product has gluten. Some people do not have the skin reactions. Welcome to the gluten free world. You will be surprised where that gluten is hiding. Let your wife know that she is a lucky woman to have your support with living...
  14. So glad he is better. Enjoy this time together.
  15. So sorry. It is nice to know what caused the problem! Thanks for the advice to avoid those rolaids.
  16. I would think so but you never know with gluten free flour. Let me know if you try this. I serve prime rib at Christmas too.
  17. Bopeeps, If you post this request under the Doctor forum, with the Topic Title as "Need GI in Dallas, TX" it will alert people in that area that might be able to help. A search (if it's working, does not always work for me) for "Dallas, TX" and you might find someone has already answered your question. Welcome to the World of Gluten Free Living and feeling...

I am so glad for you.
  19. Make sure to call/email/ask when they will have more in stock. If they know people are looking for it they will try to order more for you.
  20. I'm into the multi-grain right now but only because when I went to the store they were out of it so it instantly became my favorite. I usually switch between the two. My local store was displaying the Udi bread in the bottom of their freezer case. Now they have moved it up to a prime location at eye level. They told me they can't keep it on the shelf because...
  21. Yes, you are being too casual with your diet. You tested positive for gluten intolerance and casein, avoid them in all forms. You can have a healthy diet without the gluten and casein. And you will feel so much better. Are you and your healthy with the effort?
  22. Are you taking any medication before bed not on a regular schedule or are you eating/drinking something at night that is causing this diarrhea to start during the night?
  23. This article was in our paper this month about a communion dispenser. Open Original Shared Link
