I had the HPV Vaccination last year. I have had several friends who have had it as well and none of us have had a problem with it. We've done several stories on this where I work and from what I understand there are more sucess stories with this vaccine than there are problems. It's a personal choice though if you want to get it or not. I was also concerned...

ARCHIVED Really Painful Dry Skin Every Time This Year!MollyBeth replied to mr. moore's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff I get really dry skin too. I use cocoa butter religiously and it helps quite a bit. Also you should put lotion on right after you get out of the shower. I can't remember why but I remember my doc telling me that once. I think it will absorb moisture better then or something...

I had another facial outbreak and went to the doctor. She said it was hives. We're not really sure what's causing them. I've been taking Zyrtech and they've cleared up. When I was in High school I used to randomly break out with hives on my back and legs...We never figured out what was causing it then either... You know...We may have made a lot of advances...

It seems to go this way with chains. At one place people are completely ignorant and then you go to a different city or even across town in some cases and get a completely different and Pleasant experience.

ARCHIVED Change In Hair TextureMollyBeth replied to slacroix1's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease Hey Juliebove...If your daughter is close to the age of puberty at all this could be one of the reasons she has two different hair types. I was born and had blonde curly hair...then it was brown and straight by the age of five...then when I got into Jr. High and started going through puberty it started turning blonde again and it got very curly in the front...

ARCHIVED Canned SauerkrautMollyBeth replied to LynnR's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications My grandfather used to make his own saurkraut and it was way better than anything you can get in a can! I did put some canned stuff in a crockpot with a small pork loin a couple weekends ago though and I did not have a problem... I believe it was the silver floss brand.

The bag says gluten free but I think I got glutened by these. I've been on a pretty strict diet of meat and veggies with the occasionl dairy. I've started to venture out a bit and try new things but I can't figure out what else it could have been....about 3 hours after I ate them I was throwing up and had really bad D. I found other threads on here talking...

ARCHIVED Mixed Kitchens - There's Gotta Be A Way.....MollyBeth replied to angelschick's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease If you've only been gluten free for eight days you're body is probably still ridding itself of gluten. You might not be glutening yourself. For the first six days of my diet I saw instant results but then after that I would still have some symptoms from time to time. I'm over a month into it now and my symptoms seem finallly just seem to have evened out...

Has anyone on here ever had a DH outbreak on their face? I haven't had the problem since last spring...When it happens my eyes almost swells completely shut and when it finally clears up my skin is so dry that it peels in places like after a sunburn. ARCHIVED Another NewbieMollyBeth replied to dsylve914's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms I was diagnosed through a biopsy. In the six weeks leading up to my biopsy I ate every favorite piece of glutenous food I could get my hands on. I planned to go gluten free the day the day after my endoscopy. I didn't want to wait for results because I had so many symptoms that I figured even if the results came back negative the diet would be worth trying...
