  1. Go to www.generalmills.com/corporate/brands/index.aspx and on the left column there is a link that says product locator. Click on that.
  2. I heard that they were supposed to come out June 1st. I went on the website to locate which stores would have them and none pop up.
  3. Thai Kitchen has some microwave meals that are gluten and dairy free. You will have to check their website under allergy info to see if it has soy. They are not frozen meals but microwavable.
  4. At least your not allergic to corn. You can eat corn tortillas, rice cakes, rice milk, coconut milk, and almond milk. I would look into some thai recipes.
  5. I wasn't just diagnosed 2 months ago and dairy products hate me. I still eat them anyways. I have no issues with carrots. I never heard of that. I eat spring rolls, pad thai, lots of mexican foods, and simple dinners like chicken with baked potatoes, and brocolli.
  6. Can you have honey? I have a few low fat, no sugar and low sugar recipes.
  7. I've never been there before. I will have to try it.
  8. Mejiers sells The Gluten Free Pantry Sandwich Bread.
  9. Simply Asia Rice Bowls are gluten free and so are some of Thai Kitchen products. Just look on their website to see which products are.
  10. I just bought these. Do I still need to freeze my bread if I use these?
  11. M&M's, Almond Joy, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are gluten free. There is more just can't think of any offhand.
  12. I agree store bought gluten free bread is NASTY! I bake my own bread which is rarely. I was never a big bread eater before anyways. I use corn tortillas for bread. Tinkyada pasta is the best. Beans and rice are a staple ttoo. at least once or twice a week. It's cheap and good for you too.
  13. Since going gluten free, my acne has been slowly clearing up. I have had really bad acne since I was 14. I used to get migraines almost daily. I used to get mouth sores all over my mouth so bad that it hurt to eat. I had those since I was at least 5 maybe younger. I had my gallbladder removed at 17 and suffered from diarrhea. I have had bowel issues all my...
  14. I eat tosadas all the time and have no issues. It is pretty much the only gluten free item besides pintos n cheese and the rice.
  15. I am on a food stamp budget. All I buy is flours and pasta. Chex is gluten free and Betty Crocker is coming out with gluten free cake mixes on June 1st. I eat meat, veggies, and rice or potato for a side dish. Salads are a staple too. If you can't find gluten free pastas you can use thinly sliced zuchini or spaghetti squash. Polenta and eggplant are good...
  16. 16 months is probably too young to be tested. My son is 13 months and the doctor said he's too young. I cut out milk and his diarrhea went away. He still gets cheese though.
  17. Insurance won't cover a dietitician or a nutritionist. It is best to find a doctor that specializes in Celiac unless you want to pay out of pocket.
  18. Check out DoIHaveCeliac.org. They have a checklist of symptoms for you to bring into your doctor. That worked for me.
  19. I've never tried anything other than peanut butter, but I love cream cheese and jelly. Hummus on pita bread is good too.
  20. I'm the only one in my house gluten free so I get tempted by cakes and cookies to ingest gluten. Whenever I have gluten, I get bad gas. I also get diarrhea. Your symptoms may be different. You will only know if you start ingesting gluten again what your reaction will be.
  21. Meijers has a much better selection than Kroger. I just buy flours and pasta, nothing prepackaged as it is too expensive and full of fat and calores. Meijers has a gluten free section and there are other flours in the flour section and some in healthy living section on the same aisle. Their flours are all spread out. I like Produce Palace cause the flours...
  22. I had toxemia in my first pregnancy and had to be induced. My second child was born almost 10 pounds. My doctor told me that toxemia is less likely in subsequent pregnancies. I didn't know I was Celiac with either.
  23. If you live in metro Detroit, I found a good store to shop at. They have a lot of variety. Produce Palace International on Dequindre by 12 Mile Road. I met the owner and he said if they don't carry something I need to let him know and they will order it. The prices are really good too.
  24. He is 13 months.
