I have never been in a Starbucks but I do make pretzels... I take melted carmel (Now they have carmel chips) & dip half of the gluten-free pretzel stick in carmel, then into melted choc or I drizzle melted choc. the I at times add sprinkles or nuts. The kids love these. You can also use the reg shape gluten-free pretzels & put a hersey kiss ... -
I can't say if it was from the graham cracker but some are soooo very sensitive it wouldn't surprise me. we also had a child glutened at Sunday School. The young teacher knew the child had a bag of goodies in the room but she decided on her own that it would be okay to give three teddy bear grahams . the poor kid was so sick & nasty for several days...

cruelshoes, did you say the US mickey D's grilled chicken contain wheat? Now, I knew of course the breaded one has wheat but the plain grilled chicken now has wheat? I hope that was a typo error! I was going to get a grilled chicken salad this week...... arrrrrgh. thanks mamaw -

Your are not alone on this one! I spent two weeks in the hospital for that very reason. Plus a week of misery at home trying every home remedy mentioned & more to everything my doctor suggested & in combination. NOTHING ! SO off to the ER & my hospital stay. Again they got out the big guns & tried a different approach & old stand bys... -

Here's my two cents : I have mixed emotions when people call this a diet , it is a lifestyle out of necessity to live a healthy"normal" life for millions & more to follow. Costco's has chicken meatballs that are gluten-free from Casual Gourmet. Our kids love them. I found them in the deli where the floor coolers are with the cheeses... They also have wild caught alaskan salmon in the freezer & canned bear wolf salmon from Alaska. Several other fish products . Delimex taquitos gluten-free too. Many Contadins tomato products... -

Doesn't that make you mad when you can't pinpoint a source!!!!! Do you take medication? And check-out your HBA products as well.You may want to do an elimination diet to see it you can pinpoint a problem. I find that at times I have no problem with a product but when I add something to it It causes a problem so I can"t do them together.....It sounds weird... -

I myself use just a couple flours as I got tired of buying a zillion flours for each recipe....I keep on hand B Hageman four bean blend, Better batter Flour, I make the flour blends from Annalise Roberts cookbook. By the way a great book & a new one is on the way....This is all I use at present. These couple work for everything I make. I do alot of... -
Anna's bread mix is wonderful. Our kids love it. But if you were a mushy town talk bread person before you probably will not like Anna's. If you like grains Anna's is excellent. We also love Lorka's bread from the recipe section... Whole Foods sells breads that we also use for stuffing mix & grilled cheese....... Against the grain has to die for...
