  4. Sounds like DH to me. I saw 4 Dermatologist in 30 years before I got diagnosed and I'm not sure how many Doctors I saw before that.
  5. One needs to take the GREAT Advice above. One also needs to start watching for signs of Celiac or other Gluten related issues with your 8 & 5 year olds.

  7. I've been gluten-free for just over 3 years. I took 25 mg of Dapsone for about a year. I was OK till about 3 months ago and got the itch again. I saw my Dermatologist(Howard Robinson) in Bel Air Md and he told me they find this just happens sometimes from the DH without Gluten. I'm back on 25mg of Dapsone for 4 to 6 months. I'll need another blood...
  8. Sounds like you need to see your Dermatologist, have a skin biopsy and a blood lab to see if you can take Dapsone.. Dapsone helped my itch... Good Luck,

  10. Gemini, Do you know what IMHO means??? After suffering with undiagnosed Celiac & DH for 50 plus years, I can call it LOVE.... Some here may not respect my IMHO either, but so be it... Some here haven't suffered enough either... I say, Spread the Love to Family Members...

  13. Keep in mind that as some of us age or have kidney disease, our bodies no longer convert sunshine to D as they once did..
  14. Keep in mind that one needs to get blood labs when taking a high dose of VitaminD..
  15. Been there... I had my Vitamin levels checked a year ago and my D was 14.8... It took about 9 months to get it above the minimum.. Leg cramps are gone now...
  16. Many of those places offer something gluten-free, but trusting them is another thing... I experienced Poor Service at Hershey Park, but that's another subject....

  19. Sounds like you just need a GLUTEN FREE diet.... I hope your Dermatologist also did a biopsy for DH... I had many boil like pimples that lasted for months before healing... That all went away with a strick gluten-free diet...

  24. Just wondering, has this type of Topic been covered before??? I work Commercial & Industrial Construction and I'm often exposed to drywall & joint compound dust.. I have DH and had many unexplained itches and feeling bad... Sounds like I need to check the MSDS Sheets for Gluten...
