  1. My sis wanted to make those gluten-free for me. I told her not to bother. She said she wanted new muffin pans! She wanted to bring them for Thanksgiving to give my mom something to take home. I told her just to make gluten ones and leave a few for my boys. Have you seen that new TV show "New neighbors"? The aliens crashed on earth and bought a whole...
  2. Gracie Kitty update: Not sure how it happened, but, she broke off one of her fangs. It was getting infected. She got a shot of pain killer and a shot of antibiotics yesterday and is still feeling no pain. Gobbled her food and is running around like a crazy kitty. Has to go on Monday to get the tooth root removed. For a recycled kitty, she is getting...
  3. My hub would like to drive a tractor and plow the drive. When we were inColorado a few weeks ago, we looked at the real estate listings. There was a nice house with a nice second little house. The second house had the most gorgeous kitchen. Just need to a find a property with a few more houses on it. How many do I need? Love my USA pans, too!
  4. You told me a real meal has more than 3 ingredients. And we would have a tractor or truck with a plow so you could " shovel"
  5. When I start my gluten-free compound/settlement Lovie has to come cook for us! Probably give her the main house cause it will have the best kitchen. Can't say what I'm having. Irish told me I can't say left-overs or a meal with less than 3 ingredients.
  6. Then put it down! Or spray it and squash it just like the other bugs! You still at school? CSU has the whole week off.
  7. Congrats Victor/ Vincent & Family! Happy Burfday, Jess!
  8. Light my Fire - Doors
  9. Public Service Announcement: Just to clarify on the Go picnic - They do make some that are not gluten free. Most of them are gluten-free . They say gluten-free on them right on the front. Second - its not exactly a "shared facility". Go Picnic purchases the products straight from the other companies. They come to Go Picnic packaged in the small sizes...
  10. Its Ok , and probably helpful to others to mention the names and cities of these restaraunts. As long as you don't own them! Addy - Are you talking about Eleanor's? We haven't been to Utah to ski lately. I soooo want to try that place. Open Original Shared Link I have been to Mariposa in Oakland (they have one in the Ferry Bldg in San Fran)...
  11. Vacuum out all the drawers and maybe wash off what is in them. Drawers always seem to get left open a crack and get crumbs in them. For the people with cast iron: You can run it thru a cleaning cycle on the oven, then re"-season" it. The mixer and the food processor: I found that white vinegar disolves flour in the little cracks. I think you could...
  12. I used the button above the posts on the right that said "reply to this topic" for this reply. Then "Add Reply" at the bottom of the reply box
  13. Under the last post, you should see a "Reply to this topic box" Just start typing in that box. then hit the green box in the lower left corner "Post" That is what I did here to reply to you.
  14. I think you could be forgiven for not cooking with a broken stove! How about bring drinks? Sodas or wine or cider?
  15. Stalking the Stocker while he stacks stalks of celery?
  16. Maybe a banana problem? Seriously, if bananas keep making your stomach hurt, stop eating them. Might be as simple as that.
  17. Well.....the toes are cute......
  18. I was thinking the same thing, even tho I am a Scorpio!
  19. I have not found any marshamallows with gluten. Kraft would be a good one to get.
  20. No smileys on iPad any longer. I sometimes use the PC so I can get them all. Or I have to do the : and ). Horrible fall-out from the Great Upgrade of 2012.
  21. I wouldn't be comfortable eating any of that food as left-overs. Too many gluten items. The spoon from one gravy will likely end up in the other, a piece of the gluten dressing will fall in the gluten-free, etc.
  22. Just saw this on Facebook on The University of Chicago's page and thought of you. "Approximately 20% of patients are older than 55 years when diagnosed with celiac disease. How old were you at diagnosis?" You might want to look at the Celiac Center website for lots of info: Open Original Shared Link "I’ve heard that I don’t necessarily have to ...
  23. You got me thinking. I like to use candy canes on top of brownies or in meringes. Just google gluten free candy canes and there seems to be lots of stuff on the web. Open Original Shared Link Are Spangler products gluten-free? A: Dum Dums, Saf-T-Pops, Swirl Saf-T-Pops, Candy Canes, and Dum Dums Chewy Pops do not contain the gluten protein found in...
  24. I think most candy canes in the US, are OK. There is usually a list published after Thanksgiving. If I see one, I will link it here. Here is last years list & these companies will probably be fine this year. Jane Anderson does a good job with these lists, I trust them. (But I still read ingredients incase....well, you never know). Open Original...
