  1. That's a nice story. Trevor is darling. Cooper is still trying to make friends with the squirrels. He runs out, tail wagging, nose down - just like if he is meeting a new small dog. Right now he is sitting, in 10 degrees, watching for them to come back over the back fence. He isn't chasing them. I think his feelings are hurt.
  2. Is there a site I can put my message in and have it come out in Bulgarian? That would be funny! Well to me, it would be funny!
  3. Will be on the look- out but 12 miles is the farthest a lost dog has come to find me. Since the little lost schnauzer that I posted on FB, we had another dog run down the street straight into M & hubs arms. He had a collar and went home quickly. My mom says that during the depression the Hobos marked your house for other Hobos to show you would...
  4. If we all go to Changs we get 4 different gluten-free things to share. J doesn't share well as he isn't a big fan of Chinese style food. He does love the pepper beef. We usually get the spiciest chicken thing (Dali chicken) and the lesser spicy chicken (Spicy Chicken) thing. Then something else to try. M& hub love the extra spicy one. I like the...
  5. Maybe it went bad? I have only seen the Throwback around here in cans. We have Mexican Coke or Pepsi in bottles. It's made with sugar.
  6. Oh Ozzie is soooo sweet! I just want put my cold hands in all that lovely fur!
  7. The way that oats are grown, harvested, transported and in some cases processed leaves them full of wheat gluten. There are gluten-free oats and some Celiacs react to them, too.
  8. I thought about saying this but decided not to engage him anymore. Do you have a food, like green peppers (for example) that you have figured out disagrees with you. Everytime you have an omlette with gps, you have gas and belch all day? If you have the omlette without the gps, you do fine. You have figured out GPs are bad for you and you try to avoid...
  9. You can't think out you a$$, you have to use your brain! Did you get an xray?
  10. Don't you get a really big Billy Goat to head butt him off the bridge?
  11. Please tell me what I did wrong? I sent this email Monday night to the parents of the Robotics students when we found out we wouldn't have school. J also, sent all the kids a text that said the same thing. Titled: Tue Robotics: The school district says that we can start at 11. So tomorrow -CAPS center 11 am . Bring a lunch and a drink and...
  12. I looked around. The guy is an "expert" on everything. He gets his info from Wikipedia which is not always accurate. He must be pretty old because he said "wet hen party". I'm not sure anyone under 80 would use that term. Anyway, ignoring him will probably frustrate him the most.
  13. No, she's still shaking in NZ.
  14. It could be both. Kids have been known to drive one crazy. Look at me! I actually felt better in 1-2 days. A lot of the gloating and that kind of pain was gone. From what I have seen on here, it seems to affect kids moods. But just having less pain can make you feel happier.
  15. Ro must have gone to take a nap!
  16. Target has been helpful & called the companies. The best you can get from alot of the drug companies is that they do not add any gluten ingredients. They won't actually say gluten-free. Walgreens was very unhelpful. They are not allowed to check on gluten-free status of medicine. When I wrote the company headquarters to complain, they told me to discuss...
  17. I had that when I was severly anemic. I think because the blood can't carry enough oxygen so your heart tries to pump more. Have you been checked for iron, ferritin, B12, D?
  18. Stop! Take a Breath! A lot of this stuff will get answered by your OB/GYN. Tell her/him that you are trying to get pregnant & they will suggest some vitamins. You can check for gluten-free. The doc will probably want to check your nutrient levels like iron, B12 Calcium & D & thyroid. Start there. Good to get that straight before you try...
  19. The wind chill temp is -6F here. I think the flashers would freeze their Popsicles off!
  20. Maybe your aunt is confused and he did a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. The colonoscopy is the large intestine. Celiac destroys the villi in the small intestine. The endo goes in thru the mouth for the top part. Taking biopsies during the endo is how they diagnose Celiac. I had both done just to make sure I didn't have anything going on in the second half...
