  1. I would like it to go the other way. I want to lie that I don't have Celiac and eat the dessert. What a ridiculous article.
  2. How's the housing market where you live, Jess?
  3. Once we made homemade pizza and wrapped the left overs in foil. Next day friends took them to work, left them in the rear window of the car and they were nice and melty by lunch. Did the egg thing. Found it works better if you put it on foil so you can get it back up.
  4. Just heard on the news weather report : sidewalks, pool decks and streets are 130 degrees. Do not walk barefoot!
  5. Will get the boys right on building an ark and stocking provisions. Thanks for the heads up. We live on a big hill so if we flood out so will a good portion of Kansas, Missouri, OKlahoma, etc.
  6. I thought it was very tricky of you.
  7. That's cause it doesn't get to 90 there!
  8. That's great news! Good for both of you to know there is someone else there with the same issues.
  9. Have you tried New Grist or Bards if available? Still sweet but a fuller flavor.
  10. I'm not familiar with them but look at the ingredients, website, maybe email or call the company.
  11. Where did you hear this? Xantham gum is used in a lot of gluten-free baking recipes.
  12. Just for the Psillies, I have ventured into the 14 year old boy room to retrieve his book of stupid jokes. Until someone gets psillier, I'll have to post these jokes. When the young wizard turned a dog into a frog, what did his father say? "What did I tell you about cursing in the house?" What do you get when you cross a fruit with a math...
  13. Happy about your arm not needing surgery. Sad about the dancing and baby bouncing. We certainly have not been keeping up the psilly on here. I think the heat is just sucking it out of us. We need those wodoka drinks Rey-schelle makes with the coconut ice cream.
  14. Yeah, this diet can be a big pain in the a$$. I hope your sis is having fun. Try to have some fun, too.
  15. Is the fact that I find that phunny a bad thing? Had bar food at home night! Yum! My stuffs better! If I could just get someone else to shop, prepare, cook & clean-up.....
  16. That's the one my kids like, so I'm going to use it. When I went to the grocery, all sorts of La Victoria stuff said gluten-free on it. I personally prefer if the ingredients are the things my Mexican grandmother (if I were lucky enough to have one) would have pit in it.
  17. h That's freedom of speech and protected by the Constitution. (A joke)
  18. Did you mention this to the store manager? I would think the store would not want to carry something that is labelled improperly.
  19. Sounds like a horror movie doesn't it? Try these: Spammers Use This To Link To Spam.com/?Celiac-Disease-Biopsy-Explained---Part-II&id=315579 Spammers Use This To Link To Spam.com/?Celiac-Disease-Biopsy-Explained:-Part-I-Villous-Atrophy&id=315570 I'm not sure why they think this is spam but I googled "celiac disease biopsy explained". They...
  20. I ate at Figo. They have several locations. It's a pasta place but ate there twice and was fine. They don't put croutons on the salad and have a corn pasta. you can have any sauce on it. There is also a brew pub that was mentioned here by someone as being good with gluten-free beer and food.
  21. Did we make the record for longest period of quiet? Stinking hot and humid here. kids are dog sitting 2 little dogs that only get to go out on leashes. So they bring them down to our fenced yard. Even they weren't thrilled to be out more than 10 minutes.
  22. Sounds like fluid retention. Bigger boobs wouldn't be bad if they didn't hurt. Maybe a hormone issue, too? They can get off kilter at any age.
  23. I would cover my food if something else is in there that I can't eat. Or cover the other stuff. I have had some oven tragedies where I have pulled stuff out and it's slid off the pan or jumped off the pan into the oven. Evil oven! Not clumsy oven user.
  24. Did you have a fun trip? Maybe you eat more salt/sodium at home. Could be retaining water and then during the night "unretaining" . Might explain breast pain, too. Right at the beginning of pregnancy you tend to pee a lot and have breast pain. Maybe you had too much fun on your trip.
