  1. Next pic will be psillier. The storms everyday are beating down the poor lilies and the roses have bloomed and will again in 2 weeks or so. Will put Matt onto this silly pic project.
  2. I forgot to say that the employees who had or family members had the allergies, should also send note to Royal Carribean and the company they work for.
  3. Would have been more Psilly if I'd put a GI Joe or something in the flowers.
  4. Assasin game update: Nothing has happened! Kids keep going out of town. This is also not a good game to play with kids who cannot drive or do not live near each other. Patti - 4 inches? very brave.
  5. Care to share the name of these kick ass mixes?
  6. I like the frozen Kinnikinnick crusts. I cook them for 4 minutes then add topping and cook until the toppings are ready. Its hard to get any pizza crust fully browned in my oven before the toppings burn. We also liked Chebe mix. It had spices in that gave it a nice flavor. Glop it on your pan then take a piece of greased plastic wrap or parchment paper...
  7. This is sooo me! I actually have a cleaning lady every 2 weeks just so I have to clear some of the "stuff". Started some clothes closet stuff yesterday and told myself will do more today. But I'm much too busy with this forum. I get something straightened out and the boys sort of go with the system. They have a space for thier crackers. Instead...
  8. I got the impression from some things I have seen about Old El Paso that the ingredients on lots of products are gluten-free but the company doen't pay to be certified. It's likely a CYA situation.
  9. Oh goody! One more thing for me to do besides clean!
  10. How far is Spokane from Portland? I'm too lazy to find a map and look.
  11. The Catholic thrift store still hasn't scheduled a pick up for my dining room furniture! Being forced to invite the in-laws for dinner! Agghhh! Must get a small stick for my mouth. Staying in the kitchen cooking doesn't work. It's big and open to the family room.
  12. It's the annoying relatives that are harder to cut out. They have a way of popping up at family gatherings.
  13. Sorry, Stef! I have no desire to clean! Actually, I do better if I just tackle 1 small part at a time.
  14. Happy Birthday Janit! (whose still on vacation)
  15. I know when I first went on, I didn't see the dates at first. Was wondering how there were so many posts. I'm not the most forum savvy. I have put a note after someone comments that a post was older than dirt. So please, people..... Look at how old the last post is before getting po'ed that everyone says Chex are not gluten-free. Legal disclaimer...
  16. My boys were always hot. Nothing to do with celiac disease. Found that with other little boys, too. We moms wearing heavy sweaters and they in t shirts.
  17. That is exactly what she needs! Might be good to touch up my roots, too!
  18. I had a feeling this was going to happen. All the stress is causing problems. Do take that thieving pooch out to walk or chase a ball. When I was feeling really tired and sad, seeing my dog happy made me happy. A little light exercise will help, too. Get your daughter to at least get you some help with the kids. My SIL doesn't have celiac disease...
  19. I think companies that expect the employees to bring family to things are extremely intrusive. My hubs company used to try this. I had babies at that time and didn't want to leave them to go to a boring work event. Fortunately, others felt this way and hub has gotten high enough in company to not require it of his employees. Do you have a friend that...
  20. Some of that over salted, over fatted "food" bothered me before. It especially bothered me that it was sold as a nutritious option for your family. Sure, we eat junk but I try to at least serve carrot sticks with it. I still like the bakery smell. Iwas never big bread person so it doesn't bother me much.
  21. Maybe Grandpa can take some of the baby sitting? Even just take the older ones to the zoo or park or McDs for an hour or 2. I did remember who was picking you up at work and taking you to the hospital. She probably thought something like this last week but, just like you, is willing to help. if I lived closer, I would take a boy for awhile. My boys...
  22. OMG, Patti! How scary! Relax and take it easy!
  23. So there.....pbffttt! Seriously, where is Daddy? Shouldn't he have at least every other weekend? Or Daddy's parents? Maybe they would like to babysit? Or divide and conquer with you? 4 small kids is probably too much for a teenager for a few hours and you do the rest. Drink some whine, you're in titled.
  24. Have answered my own question. Decided not to look at national brands. The HyVee brand (midwest grocery chain) lists theirs as gluten-free.
  25. Has anyone used Peanut butter baking chips? I am having all kinds of trouble try to figure if Hershey's Reeses ones are gluten-free. Or trying to find info on what other brands might have them. Kids want me to make those Flourless Chocolate cookies with them. Thanks
