  1. Brillant child!
  2. Yea, you've been posting too much. . Me too. I know I would get so overwhelmed and frustrated trying to follow the push 1 , etc and not getting where you need to be.
  3. I saw her and thought she looked like a princess. Quite lovely.
  4. I just seem to be talking your ear off today. Have you been blood tested for various vitamin type deficiencies? Iron, B12, D, and also, thyroid. I found that when I had gotten my iron, etc back up close to normal, I felt much better. More energy, less aches and pains, nails growing thicker, skin less dry and itchy, etc. You and I may have other intolerances...
  5. Oh Honey! The first 2 months, most of us are in mourning - Even if we see the benefit and are all for the gluten-free lifestyle. It's not just even the foods we can't eat (because with time we find alternatives) . It's the lose of spontaneity. We must think about and plan our food lives. We can't just meet at any old bar for dinner or when running errands...
  6. Is Ollie on the web site? I looked for him but didn't see him. You psillies are really making me want a kitteh!
  7. We send you for 1 large cat and you end up with 2, young lady? (fierce parent voice) Loved the video.
  8. My kids aren't Celiac but they liked "wierd" lunches in the lower grades: Peanuts, carrot sticks, fruit & crackers Container with PB and a plastic knife or spoon & celery sticks and crackers Cereal (Chex or others) could put in a little container and kids can get the milk & put on it or eat dry. Could do hummus if kiddo likes that Cheese...
  9. You know that list is 6 years old. You might want to check those brands for more up to date info.
  10. Get one that can sell that house! At least in your family you can blame the medications.
  11. Does anyone else feel like a soccer game ending in a tie is like they didn't finish it?
  12. We'll take our goals anyway we can get them!
  13. Cannot think of anything funny. Should get my fat a$& to bed. Must rest up for the big Cup match tomorrow - as if I'm playing or something. :
  14. Probably not PF Changs. My neighbor is in charge of them and he's pretty strict. The McDs around here are not always as good as they should be. I do think the key to travel is to pack filling snacks. I only have gluten-free beer at Waldo pizza. Glad you liked them.
  15. Weren't you going to W of Fun? How did that go? I find the carbonation of pop bothers me before and still. I think I also have a problem with artificial sweeteners to a small extent. Full strength pop usually has high fructose corn syrup which is hard for many people to digest at least some of the time.
  16. Maybe: "Quarantined" "Beware of falling rocks" "tornado shelter" "Flash Flood Area" "Middle School Boys Locker Room"
  17. I beg to differ. I believe olives are best if black and put on pizza or maybe served with a nice cheese and wine.
  18. Got this from my lil" sis: It has to do with the method and the cost. When the testing is done on full size machine with proper reagents(chemicals that break down the and isolate chemicals in blood like glucose), the results are more accurate and less expensive for the patient. The full size machines are capable of running dozens of specimens at a time...
  19. I sent a note to my SIL who is a professional vampire to see if she knows. Will let you know when I hear back. She's working tomorrow I think, so she may find out.
  20. In case someone hasn't made thier own puree, Jack o' Lantern pumpkins are not the right kind. Usually, the cooking ones are smaller and will say something like "for pie".
  21. I was thinking of you today. Glad you got that over with. Now you have to wait for results... I thought you would take Fritos. I love those fatty, salty crispy things, too. Feel better.
  22. I agree. Emu isn't a good name for a dog. Can you imagine trying to call that at the dog park? All the other dogs and owners will make fun of the poor doggy. I think your friend means your old clothes from before you lost all that weight? Or maybe she hopes you have something loose and baggy that flows freely on you but will just cover her bits...
  23. Lots of stuff is naturally gluten-free. Meat, veggies, fruit, rice. Some of the sauces you might put on them or cook them with are not. Some broths even have wheat in them. The main thing is to read labels. The bread tastes better if you toast it.
  24. Riley may teach new kitten some escape tricks.
