  1. Stef, I have some gluten-free cookies I get that I don't let anyone try -human or ant. I want them all to myself.
  2. I make some muffins and put them in the freezer. I take one out the night before I want it and it's ready to go. By making then you can have more fiber, less sugar, etc
  3. Until she talked with you, her only exposure to gluten allergies, intolerances, and celiac was the one friend with the Autistic child. She was surprised because she didn't know about the rest of the issue. Now she has heard about it and knows more than before. You shouldn't be upset. You just educated someone, even a little bit. I don't think she meant...
  4. When I first got my iPad, Maxi, I looked and they didn't have anything. They have this one now! I'm downloading now. $6 Maxi gets to go grocery shopping with me now. Actually, my hub will like to take it as unless it says gluten-free he is confused. But he tries.
  5. I'm bored here, too, Nik. Tell us the exciting details of your life!
  6. I hope Lefty is happy. I plussed you as an end of term present. Good job sticking in there!
  7. The people you make cakes for do not tell you what they have in mind? They have great confidence in you. For a college grad, books sound good to me. Post pics here or on da book, please.
  8. Jan-it, you are on your way to excellance. I just plussed you 3 times! WhoohHoo! Also, we set our "status" to something Psilly. Click on your picture & you'll see your "status".
  9. I'm not sure that story is for kids. Unless you want him kicked out of Scouts.
  10. Wow! M goes for 10 days and he only needs 2 pairs of underwear!
  11. Twiddle twiddle.... What can we discuss today? Dog saw M leave & he won't let me out of his sight. Last year, after a few days, he stopped eating. Dog sitting his 2 dog friends and a new puppy so maybe they will come over & cheer him up later.
  12. You might want to get a note from your Md on his perscription pad about Celiac. I have one that explains I must bring my own food in order to eat safely. This helps in some places to explain why I need to bring my own food.
  13. M is off to 10 days of life in a tent (Boy Scout camp). If he could have power for an XBox and a TV to play it on, he would never come back.
  14. Yum! Glutino lemon wafers! (rapturous sigh). Back to reality... I have seen some websites where you rate the posts positive or negative. I think this is just one of the features the web designer used on this site to bulk up his bill - along with the status bit. We rarely need to rate anyone negatively on this site. We usually take care of that in...
  15. I have always hoped they didn't make any babies.
  16. Even more perplexing...his girl friend forgot about it too. Days later when it was, well I think you can imagine, neither of them remembered. It wasn't obvious any longer because of the....um...infection.
  17. You go Connie! I would have huffed up to the service desk and loudly demanded to speak to the manager. The store really doesn't want people like that working there. If you were hurt, they could be sued.
  18. I emailed our local brands. They were very nice and told me that all of the flavors are gluten-free. One told me that at one time, they had put Graham crackers into the "pie" flavors but didn't work well so they stopped. Also, told me about their ice creams, etc. Yoplait is labeling the new Greek yogurt as gluten-free.
  19. At least it didn't get the computer.
  20. Probably. That explains it then. Not sure the excuse for the string guy who forgot the string. Brain fog?
  21. There is a pizza place here that says the crust contains soy infant formula. It make a good thin crust.
  22. First-when you started with "K,,". I thought this was addressed to me as some people call me that. Yes, it is all about me! Anyway, I am happy to know this guy moved to your hospital. Years ago, he came to the ER of the hospital I worked at. He had tied a string around his parts to enhance his performance. He forgot for days that it was there. Had...
