  1. I thought the Cha Cha was cool but wondered where they get the info and if its correct? That was why I looked on 711s website. On the website they said they listed gluten on some flavors. That's why I wrote them and apparently they don't know what is in the Slurpees. Still wonder where Cha Cha got the info. Not sure you should trust Cha Cha when we have...
  2. Have you gone back to that store & checked to see if they are still doing that? It might be a service to others who have the same thing happen.
  3. You can thank your GI for catching this before you did have a positive biopsy and a lot of damage. Strokes his ego a bit but hopefully will force him to treat it as Celiac.

    ARCHIVED Camping?

Just be careful of the grills or Dutch ovens. Probably could line them well with foil. Foil has become my friend.
  5. Reyshell, I see you are on the forums. Does that mean you made it home safely? What did you do or say right before "God tried to strike you down?"
  6. This is the response I got from 711 when I inquired about the gluten in Slurpees. It had my original message in the middle. Unfortunately the list of ingredients on the website is all we have to go by at this point, but we are working on getting more detailed information. Stay tuned! 7. Pacific natural foods has gluten-free roasted red pepper and tomato soup. I think they had a different tomato one, too. I have found these at a regular grocery.
  8. I put mine in a glass. Box is too heavy to hold up high enough. Could have an accident and bomp myself on the head. Actually, some of them are good and probably made in stainless steel vats not wheat soaked barrels.
  9. Forgot, there is a Five Guys on Matcalf and 120th.
  10. Bummer. If you can get it Kitchen Basics broths are all gluten-free and lower sodium then most of the "low sodium" broths. They have it at Target and most groceries here. It's in a box, so you just put in fridge after you open it and use it in something else.
  11. I was like that for years. I thought it had to do with something I was eating, or not enough fiber some days, too much beer, etc. Looking back, I can see some times when I was doing better were because I just happened to be eating less things with wheat - had a box of Rice Chex I was eating for several days, Tacos one day, homemade stew & leftovers...
  12. I haven't tried all these yet as I haven't been gluten-free long enough. Godfathers on 127 & Antioch has gluten-free pizza (OK not as good as Waldo but easy for the evening if tired) Bonefish grill on 135th & Nall PF Changs on the Plaza Caspian Bistro (Persian food probably not good for small kids) Waldo Pizza -really yummy gluten-free...
  13. Good to keep the sore back warm. I would be happy to send you about 15 degrees of temp.
  14. Even if they suddenly fit, they would be hopelessly out of style.
  15. Looking at some previous posts, I noticed you mentioned Corona and were reminded that it is not gluten free. You also ignored people who mentioned it so I suppose this will be ignored too. You have been on these forums long enough to know that you are damaging yourself even if you don't have an immediate reaction.
  16. We have basements here and it is easy to fill them up with boxes and assorted stuff. At least you don't have to pack them back up for the move.
  17. Some days I just felt tired and some days not good. I think it was my body adjusting, flushing out junk(technical term ) healing. If you don't feel well, keep the food simple. I have also noticed that vitamins upset my system. Had a vitamin free Sunday & my system and its products were almost normal. Buck up, girl!
  18. Don't these beer have barley malt in them like most beers? They might not be "wheat" beers. Where did you find out that these are gluten free? Corona has a facebook page with questions and answers. This is what they list the ingredients are: -Corona Extra is made with all natural ingredients, water, barley, hops and yeast. Barley or malt listed...
  19. Shhhh! Once you get the hang of the site, they change it up on you.
  20. gluten-free wafers are not completely gluten-free. The Catholic church says that they must contain wheat to be like the bread Jesus had. We could argue that current US wheat is not what Jesus had but it isn't going to make a difference. That said, taking the wine is the same as the wafer. I follow up to Communion and when the person in front of me is...
  21. We are having some terrific humidity here. It rained so much, there is standing water everywhere. Yesterday and today it's been hot -90 today- and you can feel the steam coming off the yard. And the yard is still very muddy! Had to turn on the AC as everything had a dampness to it. Judy, I still have 2 unpacked boxes from when we moved into this house...
  22. I looked at a Mt Dew flavor and one other. Maybe some flavors are OK.
  23. I am afraid that the info may not be correct. I looked at the 711 website which sent me to slur pee.com and some flavors actually say "contains gluten". Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
  24. Having a Quickie so I can see what I want to reply to: Patti - love the billboard & it could be an ad for anyone of us Soose - Sorry the computer is sick - has it been "glutened"? Love the picture of the snugglers. Cooper saw it & he wants a Kitty. Lost - gave up on it long ago but want to watch all episodes at once like I think it...
