  1. I live in an area where people don't think twice about spending $7 for a pint of ice cream. So where is it????? I left a note for the manager at one store. Will report back when the quarry has been sighted and apprehended.
  2. Rub it in, why don't cha? I just went to 2 stores that according to the website should have it & nada. I will have to go to WF.
  3. I just banged my head on my desk! That's all I can do right now. Crazy!
  4. OMG! I have been trying to find ways to up my fiber intake! Thanks.
  5. Hey Jess &/or Rachelle: What was the brand of the coconut ice cream you liked so much? I looked it up & my store was supposed to have it so I promptly forgot the brand name. They have no cocnut ice cream but if I tell them the brand they will try to get some. Thanks.
  6. Check on the Whole Foods website & see if they have one near you. Also, sometimes a brand like Udis has a website that tells you what stores carry the product in your area. Of course, regular groceries always have rice, veggies, etc. Some have a gluten-free section.
  7. I was reading the "penis pen" comments last night & Hub asked what was so funny. I could only shake my head. This message brought to you very quickly by "FAST REPLY"
  8. I found the thread about the rice papers: Next to search at top right corner pick "Advanced" picked forum - "coping with" & topic was "fruits and vegetables". Not sure how to post a link directly to it.
  9. I just looked at the web site and they do list them as gluten-free. On another part that explains sprouted grains, they mention the barley in the water. I sent them a comment that I thought that was missleading. Maybe if a few others would send notes, too, they will look into it.
  10. I always found that I need a little milk or soy milk in coffee or eat something with it. It can be hard on your stomach/gut.
  11. So true! If gluten-free sweets were low cal, everyone would want them!
  12. Funny. My mom is feeling insulted that they play childish games in rehab. My dad watches & thinks it looks fun. She'd freak if they showed her that video... I might show her that video. I wish they could rehab her sense of humor.
  13. They are gluten-free? I tried them before I had to eat gluten-free & liked them. Thanks for the heads up.
  14. My pharmacist doesn't know about gluten. He even told me that the amount in them wouldn't be enough to make a difference. He tells me the company name, phone or address if he has it, and I check with the drug company. Walgreens doesn't let them on the internet or to make a long sidtance call to check meds. Crazy, huh?
  15. No. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the pseveral glasses of whine I've had.
  16. I hope Lefty is OK & comes home soon.
  17. I was just thinking about her & wondering how she was doing. Great to hear! Is she enjoying the relaxing or getting bored? To me a pet supply store would be a great place to work.
  18. Oh no! I've broken another psillie rule! I always made sure I didn't have dog poo on my shoes first. Weather here is sucking up the place. Glad you had nice weather for the lake. Did they use the 40% Michaels coupon for the fancy cake machine? I saw as much of SNL that I could stay awake for. Betty was great! Loved the part...
  19. That's great! Sounds like the probiotics and treatment may be helping.
  20. If she won't let you take her, call an ambulance. I'm betting she won't be able or strong enough to tell them "No." She sounds seriously I'll. when you get this sorted out, let us know. I will say a prayer for her & you.
  21. Happy Mother"s Day, psillie moms! Not much planned here which can be a good thing.
