  1. Twas worth it....you got the job. When do you start?
  2. Recently got a gluten-free care package from the Univ of Chicago Med School Celiac Center. It had a bottle of Hidden Valley Ranch in it. I'm hoping those guys know what they are doing.
  3. Check the Chick fil a web site. The I would check with the manager at the one you go to just to be certain.
  4. Maybe you could cook for your parents, too? Also, I know people that get a headache from MSG which has nothing to do with gluten but is in alot of things. Look around on this post because I think that autolyzed or hydrolyzed yeast or something may be similar to MSG. There was some discussion on this in the past month or so.
  5. This sounds wierd but I'll try it soon. I posted a couple of dips on that Vegtables & fruit thread that I thought would be good for your rice paper wraps. Don't know if you can eat the ingredients but you might be able to substitute.

  11. I think this is my 500th post! Boy do I talk too much!
  12. I think the main problem with any food served "buffet-style" is the risk of cross contamination. Someone might drop a couton in the lettuce. When its picked out, it still leaves little crumbs you might not see. People might use the tongs from the pasta salad on the tomatoes.
  13. We have Yum-Yum fire fighters here. When the boys were Cub Scouts, we would tour the fire station. The moms would be drooling. Hi Jen! Sucks about the Burt's Bees. I would have expected better of them. I think, maybe, not positive, I saw on another post that Burt's was bought out by a BIG company. Yeah NJ Housewives! ...
  14. My hub just asked if we could have a ferret. D

  16. Perhaps the limes are the source of the CC & we are blaming poor tequila for nothin. She's raising cute, ass kicking children, bakes heavenly cakes, saves heart patient's lives, & now she is a home remodeler! Our Queen!
  17. I have seen a couple of doc's on news/talk shows that have said that food is all the way through in less than 24 hours. They said that if you feel that you must cleanse, no more than a 24 hour period of green tea and lemon water. They thought the ones on the market aren't safe for anyone. This makes sense because when having a colonoscopy, you have to...
