  1. Legally, the person who makes the copies must keep the info confidential, know what is important to copy & what is not, etc. So your paying for the person's time, too. Anyway, if you are a little clever, you'll figure a way around this.
  2. Poor Gerald - he died fat and happy! At least you know there are not more. At M's summer nature day camp he attended for 6 years as a camper & 1 as a helper: They set big cage traps at night with lots of PB and pretzels or apples. They catch usually a racoon sometimes a possum. The kids all look at it & then M takes it into the woods &...
  3. Legally they have the right to charge you for copies. $1 per page with a service charge of $15 was standard 15 years ago when I last worked at a hospital. The info is yours but the paper record belongs to the doctor or hospital. Hard to wrap your mind around, but that's the way it is. If you want your info sent directly to another doctor for continuing...
  4. J had a phone last school year that would call me during social studies class. I could listen in to the class. It never calls me so I can listen in on a party or a date. You must do what you need to for her protection. Good that she hasn't gotten the other kitties to follow her.
  5. Wow! I probably would have called an ambulance. Your interests say you work for an ENT, I know they are probably a different dr then you need, but you might asked around the office. Maybe a nurse or doctor could give you some thoughts.
  6. Got out an open yellow bag of semi-sweet chips and my reading glasses. They don't list vanillin but "natural flavors". Only used artificial vanilla (on purpose) to make white icing as real vanilla makes it biege.
  7. General Mills doesn't list Kix as gluten-free. Probably because they are made on machines with other non gluten-free cererals. The ingredients may be gluten-free. So they may technically be gluten-free but the company is worried about cc so they will not state that Kix is gluten-free. Some people do fine with things made like this - they do have to clean...

    ARCHIVED Taco Bell

Connie its me again! Regular taco shells that you can get at the grocery & read the ingredients are usually fine. Look at Taco Bells web site - almost everything on it has gluten or is fixed next to gluten often by kids or people who don't really want to work there.
  9. I use Nestles chips with no problem. Never liked Hersheys as much.
  10. I do like you do and have a separate area for gluten stuff & toaster. We do have to share the stove top. I just keep an eye on what's fixed that's not gluten-free. Hub & one son made non gluten-free pasta. I then know where to scrub a bit extra (they clean & I reclean when they aren't looking so as not to discourage cleaning). Most dinners...
  11. Why thank you! I think trying to find the funny in this mess makes me feel better.
  12. Connie, they have even advertised on TV about being gluten-free. Pay attention, girl! Of course, Wheat Chex are not gluten-free (my CYA statement).
  13. I have heard that some churches will put out a paper cup of wine for people who can't use the communal cup. Celiac but also, low immune systems from Chemo, etc. Ask at church. Catholics usually recieve every week. The wafer is made from wheat. The alternatives still have a touch of wheat in them. Trying to change a tradion in a large religion...
  14. OOOOH! OK. I think you have talked me into one. There must be something I can get rid of to make space. Maybe the 6 cheap metal cooking spoons with cracked wooden handles?
  15. I don't have one either. I'm running out of room ( oh.. Who am I kidding? I ran out of room 15 years ago) in my kitchen.
  16. What did you do? Did they have you play funny childish games? Or is your PT really funny? Sounds delicious. I'll help you eat that up! Saw a recipe for something like that - it was one of those recipes that make something simple very complex.
  17. Bunnie - I hope that takes care of it and you feel better. Jess - Just hanging around waiting for Rachelle? On the book it looked like she's out spending money. Gonna have some tomatoes tonight - will be on the lookout for trouble.
  18. Saw these but haven't tried them. They are gluten-free veggie burgers. Open Original Shared Link
  19. Bummer! Why isn't the gluten thing enough? Why more allergies and sensitivities? Sometimes life ain't fair! (not meant to start a discussion on God, fate, karma, my bad attitude, etc)
  20. There is a pita, I haven't tried it yet. reddybread.com
  21. These are very yummy! I put lots of sweet red pepper and pineapple on them so it counts as my fruit & vegetable serving.
  22. Boring day today. Must run errands before the rain, thunder, lightening, wind, tornados, etc. Same boring weather. Patti - I made your flax seed muffins yesterday. Last time I put the full sugar & teeny, tiny cut up pieces of apple in them. Tasted OK but a little sweet. The apple pieces were so wee that I couldn't tell they were there. This...
  23. Have fun on your trip, Rachelle! If you get a chance, let us know how its going. Unless your too busy...
  24. I wrote them to ask about this the same day that this came up. This is the reply I recieved today: Dear Karen, thank you for your interest in our products. We do not advertise our Sprouted Corn Tortillas as gluten free. In house, we do take precautions against cross-contamination and we do not use any gluten ingredients in our Sprouted Corn...
