  1. You can't "unmeet" the gold standard, lol. You were gluten free for several weeks before the pillcam, if my reading/math are correct. You are healing! Be ever so happy!
  2. I think, perhaps someone should suggest it. That said, the gluten goodies i believe are mandated to be. Kinda trying to save us from ourselves? To justigy eating four serving of cereal for breakfast, and no protein....?
  3. I am thinking your cynisicm is well placed. Last I knew Crohn's was a disease of the LARGE intestine. Good luck.
  4. Just so you know that gene testing is not diagnostic. You can have gene(s) and not have the disease, and not have either of the two common genes and still be celiac.
  5. . Parasitic disease including the following: a. Cestodes (Echinococcus). b. Trematodes (Schistosoma). c. Nematodes. d. Ascaris. e. Strongyloides. f. Ancylostoma. g. Capillaria. h. Toxocara these are all parasites, has she been tested for all of them? and what allergy workups has she had? (sorry if you already mentioned)unfortunately what...
  6. Open Original Shared Link IgG is split up into 4 subclasses, ea with it own job... What is his IgG2?
  7. How many specimens did they take? not altogether, but of your small Intestine? It is possible they missed the abnormal parts..The DGP is quiet specific for celiac and not overly sensitive, so for it to be positive, wellll....welcome to the club!
  8. just the fact that it was a buffet would be enough. no control on CC.
  9. If you are taking prescription Vitamin D, you would be better served going to the health food store, or event supermarket, and getting D3. The script version is D2, unless otherwise stated. good luck
  10. remember...cats are carnivores, not omnivores.....
  11. I mmunoglobulin A. 5.3 g/l (0.60-396) Gliadin IgA Abs 14 uml (0- 20) tTg IgA/IgG 50 u/ml. (0-24) Dq2 gene detected If that is the ref range next to your IgA, you arent low, but have you typed it in correctly? "0.60" is just weird. It seems they have covered that issue, the third line is tTg IgA/IgG so could be IgG and not IgA. The pool, tech possible...
  12. Whoa, back up, take a deep breath. Retest before you panic. The only I found was taking testosterone.
  13. Where is the total IgA? without it, the IgA results are meaningless.
  14. try sustain release magnesium, if you can find it. It is possible that your mixed supplement is not the right ratio for YOU. good luck
  15. She is positive on the newest most specific test, and they won't diagnose? geesh. take care, anc good luck
  16. ......and, referring back to OP, what monumental idiot blames a rash on his butt on BREAST FEEDING?
  17. Your pediatrician is mistaken, you can develope celiac at any time. he needs to be retested, asap.
  18. LOL, we are on the same page. The phrase that came to my mind was "No )(%$^**( way!

Is it by prescription, a small bright green "football"? If so, it is just short of useless, it is D2. Go to grocery/vitamin store and get D3.

    what form of Vitamin D?
  21. both calcium and iron require acid to be utilized. are you on acid reducing meds? Even if you are not, you could have low stomach acid. especially as we age. If you can't get testing for it, you could try betaine hydrochloride tabs, if you can't get those, Vitamin C may do the trick, but not the buffered one, lol.
  22. yeah, hadn't thought of that. Perhaps it is anticipatory rather than result.
  23. Tested my kids immediately for antibodies and neither of them was positive. Now, I do notice that their bellies get bloated after a big spaghetti dinner, but it could be just me watching them a bit too closely... My oldest has asthma and multiple food allerges and while i think it is better for him not to eat gluten I am concerned that his diet is restricted...
  24. Yeah, that drop wouldn't make me happy either! celiac testing ASAP. then diet, supplements.
