What you really want is D3 which you can get at the health food store, and probably the grocery. The dosage i have seen suggested is 1000 units per 25# of body wt, daily, until levels are...

Try this for a week...

  7. the antibodies are made in your intestintes, if you stop eating gluten containing food, they antibodies stop being made....true they dont immediatly disappear, but if they were only milding elevated to begin with you may indeed get a false negative. good luck
  8. unless you have her in a long sleeved smock she will get some on her clothes...and from there it will go anywhere .....and her hands...unless you scrub her nails rather diligently/harshly some will remain, and, while she is playing do you really want to bet she will never touch her face?
  9. chol. testing should be done fasting, so the major effect of diet is eliminated...the liver manufactures chol. too little can cause many issues, i am not aware of what the underlying cause would be, though i would suspect malnutrition/liver disease.
  10. hmm young, female, weight gain, belly pain......have you been checked to see if you are pregnant?
  11. do some research, the Rx Vitamin D is D2, the preferred (active form) is D3...and i have also read that oily is better (gel caps)....1000 IU per 25# of wt. daily.
  12. your husband has another gene for that loci (or whatever the proper term is,lol) it is likely that it would show up in your other children....
  13. be aware that ativan is in a class of drugs called "anxiolytics", used to treat anxiety......be prepared for the docs to think that is what your problem is....good luck
  14. make sure your gallbladder is checked out....
  15. the reason that the reason that K+ (potassium) supplements are so low is that too much can be deadly.... calculate your Ca++ intake in food, perhaps you can lower your supplement of that.....when i started D3 i started getting cramps, potentially d/t the benificial affect on absorbing Ca++. But do be careful about low K+, because too low is deadly...
  16. if you are referring to eosinophils....that would inicate an allergy...
  17. are you taking the B12 on an empty stomache? that is an hour before or 2 hours after eating...
  18. actually, minimal amounts are absorbed sublingually....most is swallowed with saliva....hence the need to have an empty stomache..
  19. the first of the three is positive....
  20. level needs to over 500. The sublinguals are mainly absorbed in the gut, through swallowing...therefore should be taken on an empty stomache, that is 1 hour before eating or 2 hours after eating. Good luck
  21. if you eat ANY prepared foods, recheck the label....sometimes the contents change
  22. the IgA is certainly suspect....the MCV is still on the high side, i would try methylcobalamin by mouth on top of the shots....the D could be higher also....normal lab values are often skewed low....off topic, but you might want to check out the relationship between low IgG2 and influenza A, at least the swine flu of last year....good luck
  23. be aware of the possibility that there could be a fungal component to the sinus infection...which the antibiotics will not touch. and, yes for some there appears a correlation between celiac and sinus infection/inflammation.
