  3. Just to show that no two celiacs are alike, I get the opposite effect. My blood sugar takes a nose dive and remains problematically low for two to three days. Generally, you must ingest gluten for there to be a problem, but if you inhaled with your mouth open, some could enter the mouth.   9. Hormel will clearly disclose gluten in the ingredient list as wheat, rye, oats or barley. If you don't see those words, it's gluten-free.

In those years, the blood tests have improved and it is now possible to make a clinical diagnosis based upon the results from a combination of tests for antibodies.   21. Personally, I would accept the blood work without subjecting her to the endoscopic biopsy. The blood tests are much better than they once were, and a positive is a positive.   24. I use Kraft. With Kraft, you just have to read the label. If gluten is in a Kraft product you will see wheat, rye, oats or barley listed as exactly that word. Kraft is celiac-friendly. There are many other companies with a similar policy.
