I have tried all the brands and King Arthur is the best to me, plus it makes 2 - 8" pans so you can make a double layer or 24 cupckaes , second best and still very good is Pamela's. -

If it doesn't come up can you inquire about this . The drug is called AT1001 ,It was in trial, then I heard it was stopped, then started again etc....It is not supposed to be intended as a cure but as a temporary allowance of gluten to be ingested with little to no side effects. Thanks -

Is the teacher sensitive to your needs , without going thru a 504 plan (which is fine but a lot of work) ? Obviously you would have to pre-make ALL of her foods in advance with strict reheating guidelines with absolutely no sustitutions allowed. First did you get new colanders /strainer as mentioned above this is an item almost impossible to decontaminate fully ? My DD was dx 2 yrs ago. At the time she was in the 90h % for ht and wt and she is in the 95 % now. We are having a hard time maintaining/losing wt since her veggie intake is limited. Also, my Aunt was Dx 4 yrs ago and is also overweight and has been most of her life. So ..not all Celiacs are underweight. -

We used a medic alert bracelet for the first year (grade 1) . It made me feel better. I also used one for myself when I was on blood thinners for a blood clot. So obviously I believe in them. -

Hi , Because gluten-free foods do taste different ( not bad, just different ) you should keep her off those simple carbs for 3-4 weeks then introduce the gluten-free version. Initially we saw a nutritionist at the Childrens hospital and she was very well informed. She gaves us a Power point presentations, a large package of info , walked us through basic dietary needs etc... Overwhelmed us with info really, but at least we were armed with knowledge. I got an iphone app for Gluten free foods which helped with the shopping... -

We had a wonderful experience. Our daughter was put to sleep with anesthia mask first so the pain and anguish of a IV was not there. She recovered immediately, enjoyed a popsicle had a light lunch in 2 hours and a minor sore throat the following day with no other problems.
