I had sandwiches (with Udi's bread, turkey and cheese), Kettle Cuisine Chili, Amy's Mac and Cheese, and some bologna, and corned beef...Stuff that I liked BEFORE being diagnosed Oh and I LOVE Bio Nature pasta the best

  6. Well I am SHOCKED! There are over a 100 kids at this camp, and a girl in MY family group has CELIAC! I knew there was a reason I was supposed to be here THIS week, and I've been praying over it, I guess this was it...She's going through a really tough transition period and needs a friend who understands. Praise God. She's kinda feeling left out with everyone...

  9. So I'm at Summer Bible camp with my little sister right? (She has medical needs and needs a family member with her to take care of them) And I had to pack my own food. I'm ok with that. I don't wanna eat anything cooked in a kitchen full of wheat by teens. But I hate that I have to take away my sisters time playing to rush back to my room (Not staying in...
  10. Dude, I never received an allowance of any kind growing up. If I wanted something really bad I could work for it, and my parents would pay me accordingly. But chores were apart of life and everyone did some and we didn't get paid for them. My Grandma made sure from a young age I knew the value of a dollar. And I knew that if I asked for something if it...
  11. Oh My Gosh!! That's such a good idea!! I need to make one! I mean it's not like I can pop into the local grocery and get some gluten-free crackers, I have to order online or drive 40 mins.... Bril idea
  12. Chick-Fil-A fries are the BEST I was iffy about BK fries since I'd never been to a BK and didn't get at least ONE onion ring in my fries (Before diagnoses) but I went to one and asked about a dedicated Fryer and it was awesome!! I missed those fries so much... McD's fries tend to make me sick if I eat them more than once or twice in a week (found...
  13. I'm not sure, I'm really new to this. I just know my symptoms were major D, gas, constipation, I was really tired, and I was always sick, I had an occasional rash, and suck...

  15. K8ling: Try putting him in the middle seat, and get some of those blinds for the windows (the suction cup ones) I only get motion sick if I have to sit in the very back of the van or if the light 'flashes' past me. (Or if I travel way early in the morning) Sometimes I have to turn around and sit in the floor of our van, and cool air helps. (Esp if the windows...
  16. When I was VERY first diagnosed my life group at college (We are assigned a small group of girls if we are girls or boys if we are boys to get together with every week with an older student to lead devo's) They all wanted to go there so I went along. I tried a fruit cup and less than half an hour later I was in the BR sick as a dog...I missed my last class...
