  1. I usually feel about the same as being glutened, just with no brain fog/headache. I'm amazed at what does have soy in it, it's everywhere!
  2. Hello everyone! I've been using this for a year and doing well. Something has gotten me really bad and I'm trying to narrow it down. I went to double check the gluten-free status of this product and cannot find it on gfdrugs.com. I tried google with no help. Does anyone know if this is still gluten-free? I'm in a lot of pain and tummy/side cramps. I haven...
  3. Hi guys, I'm Celiac and wondered what symptoms did you first notice with your Celiac child or baby? I want to keep an eye out for my grandson. Thanks everyone!
  4. I recommend a product called "Cheese Ups" By Wellaby's!!! I can find them in a store near me, however, they also sale online. It has a wonderful cheese cracker taste just like Goldfish. It is a lighter cracker and not as dense as a goldfish, but I love them. They are a triangle shape and puffed.
  5. I'm tired, so I'm having a baked potato with cheese/bacon and BUTTER
  6. I had tuna salad with pickles/red bell pepper. Instead of mayo, I used an italian salad dressing with no soy! Stuffed into a toasted Udi hotdog bun. Chips and to seem healthy. raw carrot sticks
  7. I am, but the opposite. I have four siblings and none have celiac like me. However, I do have a sister with Lupus. I'm the only one in my household to date, that has Celiac.
  8. Veggie nachos and lovely melted cheese with........A BIG glass of wine
  9. Before DX...My regular MD patted my leg and said "well, I'm sure your GYN can fix you up" After having surgery (many pills, and ct scans)to see if I had a "female" problem, my GYN said.."have we thought to send you to a gastro" Gastro PA told me it was IBS...only after feeling even worse on that diet, did I go back to eating salads. Feeling somewhat...
  10. I've been so busy and tired! I'm keeping it simple Udis bread with canola mayo and sliced boiled eggs. Perhaps tomorrow I will cook!
  11. I have made the pizza recipe added bacon bits(hormel or Oscar meyer), cheese and fresh chopped chives. I bake it in an 8x8 pan. My kids (gluten eaters)love it. Bake as instructed..cool and cut into squares.
  12. Things I enjoy are Foldger coffee diet Pepsi teas by Bigelow White wines Woodchuck hard cider. The flavor "Fall" is out now and yummy.
  13. It's Friday! nachos and some wine!!
  14. I have other food allergies besides being celiac. I use some Bush beans, but mostly Lucks, ( in the south) I do great with Lucks! Good luck! I know other beans have been mentioned (Eden) and they are gluten-free, however, the cost is much.
  15. I agree it is good for gluten-free to be out there. However, when info given is only half the truth,I feel it harms us. I never watch DR Oz, but was flipping the channels one night and caught it. The Dr on the show said to be gluten free you only have to avoid, wheat, barely and rye. They never explained about gluten-free oats or malt!
  16. Greek salad with a glass of wine : ) keeping it simple tonight.
  17. I sometimes use the hotdog rolls for sub sandwiches. I agree, sometimes I'd rather have a hotdog without the bun.
  18. Thanks IrishHeart! I work for a school system and went back to work after my summer break at the same time my grandson was born! They live with me, so life is often very busy here! I'm trying to get back here more often now!
  19. I think Udis is best (especially the buns) thawed in tinfoil at room temp, then gently warmed in tinfoil. I toast the slice bread slightly for a sandwich. I've tried a few gluten-free breads and Udis is one of the best. I'm looking forward to trying their new dinner rolls and muffin tops! I think each of us have a different way to warm/heat and eat our gluten...
  20. Try Crunchmasters 7th ancient grain cracker. One is gluten-free dairy free and soy free. I am gluten-free, soy free, nut free and tomato free, so I understand. If you can eat nuts it would be geat dipped into peanut butter, I love it with humus. I also like Cape Cottage chips and some corn chips.
  21. Thanks! I did want my children tested, my daughter is all for it, but my son does not want to. They both saw what I had to go through and how sick I became. I'm pushing for them to go. They will all be living with me and eating some gluten-free because that is all I cook. However, if tested, they eat enough gluten outside the home to count. I lost both...
  22. Hi everyone! I'm a grandmom! My son welcomed his son on August 30! My thoughts beyond loving every minute of it. I'm wondering if the Celiac gene hit him, you know? My children do not show signs and their DR said to wait for signs or symptoms before they are tested. How many of you are concerned about passing the gene on? This baby boy is such a blessing...
  23. Growing up my Mother rinsed off her chicken and told me to do the same. She washed bone in chiken with skin on. If I'm roasting a whole chicken, I tend to rinse it off inside and out. I think my Mom thought it was best to rinse it of blood etc. I buy organic thin breast usually and do not wash them.
  24. I would also look at any lip products you are using for any other allergen that could be added to it. I found out I had a few food allergies and had to throw out lip products that had nut oils and soy was a big one for me. I was eating so very little and still hurting, it wasn't until I found out soy and certain fruits were a problem for me that I started...
