  1. I've been sick with a cold and a cough for a few weeks and need to go to the doctor. It's been butternut squash soup and tonight a bacon and cheese baked potato. I feel lousy! I got CC this past weekend at my own hands. I have a shared household. I've had two great pain free months until this weekend, so that's a blessing!
  2. Thanks for the idea, but I'm allergic to peanuts and a few other nuts. I've been wanting to try sunbutter, but not sure if I'll react to it. Does anyone who has to be nut free eat sunbutter alright? I've been thinking of trying yogurt. I was dairy free, but now seem to handle hard cheese.
  3. I need some quick and protien ideas! I get up at 5 a.m. and I'm so sleepy, I usually get only coffee in. I eat a rice cake or two on the job. I'm tired of boiled eggs on the run.
  4. Nothing fancy here, stuffed baked potato last night and egg salad tonight. Tomorrow gluten-free mexican pizza!!! Yum....and I'm so hooked on my cream cheese olive spread.
  5. I'm gluten-free, soy, and nut free. I can eat some corn products, but not often. Great responses here, but I also look for "natural" products as well(they have natural on the lable). I find those to be soy free and corn free. I finally found salad dressings and crackers to eat. I do make most of my own foods from whole foods as well. Good luck to your friend...
  6. My sister just told me about this yesterday! Thanks for sharing.
  7. I'm getting slack on cooking during the week! It'll be a turkey/avocado or egg salad sandwich. carrots with humus and a glass of white wine.
  8. HaHa! Easy because I didn't have to actually heat something or "cook"
  9. I eat the pickles just fine. However, I cannot handle even gluten-free mayo because of soy. It took me many months to figure out I was bloating and having a similiar reaction to soy like I do gluten. Did your tuna contain soy? keep a food diary and that should help pinpoint problem foods for you. Kraft is a good company I trust to lable. The prior post...
  10. I have been so tired this week, so it's been easy dinners. Tonight tuna salad with lemon, olives, celery, fresh dill, capers(love the salty with tuna) drizzle of olive oil and boiled egg slices on the side. A few gluten-free crackers. Glass of white wine......
  11. I'm making my cream cheese olive spread again for superbowl upon request. Mini turkey sliders with chives. Sauteed mushrooms, and white cheddar cheese for the toppers. gluten-free pizza with "extra cheese/black olives and pepperoni"(my daughter request) I need some veggies!
  12. Movie night, cream cheese/cheddar, olive and beef spread with gluten-free crackers. It's easy and really yummy! Easy to double for a party! 1 block of cream cheese at room temp 4oz cheddar 3 green onions finely chopped 20 green olives(I like more) a pack of Budding beef finely chopped 1 teas gluten-free worcestershire sauce (more if you like) I...
  13. I make my pasta salad with Tinkyada pasta, I've used a few different shapes for it. Even my gluten eating teens love it. It's the only gluten-free pasta I like cold.
  14. Where do you buy these? I'm not sure I've seen them at a market near me. Thanks!
  15. I have Raynauds as does my sister who has Lupus. I am not on meds for it at this time. I seem to only have problems with it if my hands or feet get too cold. I protect them in the winter with gloves , thick socks and thankfully I've had a mild winter so far. In the summer I have to watch the air conditioner also. I have outside a.m. duty at my school...

  17. I like the chips way too much IrishHeart!
  18. I cannot do nuts or soy and I try to stay away from corn. Although, I can eat some home made popcorn without problems. I was whole foods for over 6 months and started adding a few things in two months ago. My lasted find and love is Crunchmasters 7th Ancient Grain Cracker!!!! No nuts, soy or corn! The lightly salted is also dairy free. My junk...
  19. I like the lundsberg rice cakes, but have to travel for them. I am sensitive to CC. I m also soy free, if you'll look, some of Quaker has soy in them. I'm on my second package of the "Lightly salted" Quaker rice cakes without problems.
  20. I would be excited/emotional to add something back in too! I'll hope this is true for you! I would love to add back some more dairy, like yogurt and milk. I haven't gotten up the nerve to test yet.
  21. Scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onion. Humus and chips.
  22. My daughter saw it last night, but didn't want to wake me. She was excited to tell me about it this morning!
  23. Leftovers tonight, butternut squash soup and some humus. However, I'm thinking stovetop popcorn or a turkey hotdog. Simple night
  24. I got back some routine blood work yesterday and was told my white blood cell count was low(did not get exact count) They want to redo the bloodwork in a month. My sister who has lupus said she has this happen sometimes, it's common with autoimmune diseases. Have any of you experienced this? Should I be concerned and do I do anything differently? The nurse...
