  1. I make a bacon and cheese quiche. This year I may include a few things to make a "brunch" type meal. Ham slices, deviled eggs, not sure what else yet.
  2. nd Thanks guys! I'm going with the deviled eggs, some guacamole, humus, raw veggies, and chips. I would love the roasted carrot humus recipe. I'm taking the rest of my food with me for the salad, and main meal. Not sure if I want to bring desert or not for right now.
  3. I need a quick easy appetizer for a progressive dinner tonight. I thought raw veggies and dip, but wondered if you all had something different. For some reason my mind is drawing a blank.
  4. fish sammy on Udi's bun with "tarter sauce" that I made. Pickles and chips on the side.
  5. My feet are killing me from work! So, a baked potato, and perhaps leftover pasta salad. Carbs and more carbs! Why not a glass of wine too.
  6. How about horseradish root? i like the ginger idea as well.
  7. I use a store brand white popcorn kernel. I put enough oil in the pan to just barely cover the kernels. Add salt! I shake the pan alittle also. You need to cover the bottom of pot with the kernels, not piled up. My kids love my popcorn and do not want to eat microwave popcorn ever. Good luck!
  8. I went corn free and soy free. It wasn't until I went soy free, that I had a low pain day. When that happened, I asked myself "what did I do differently today" I didn't use my using Burts Bees hcapstick that day. It has soybean oil in it. I stopped that and all soy and have some pretty good days. However, I think I have a hard time still digesting raw veggies...

  10. I haven't had a good experience with Chebe lately. It's so sticky, any tips? Would love to make some of these.
  11. When I used the progresso mushroom soup, it was kinda loose, so I used cornstarch to thicken it. I also used the funyuns. My kids loved it more than the campbell's.
  12. This is how I made it last year(progresso and funyons, however, I'm now soy free. I'm not sure if I want to make my own soup or just fresh greenbeans. I'm looking forward to the stuffing.   15. I found some hormel italian sausage at wallmart gluten-free. Pre cooked ,so I made sausage and basil pizza last night. Tonight pasta salad,and perhaps pigs n blanket. Not facey,but comforting .

  18. Pasta salad with black olives, cucumber, hormel pepproni, small cubes of cheese with a natural champagne dressing.(red onion and a yellow bell pepper works nice in this as well) Roasted chicken with basil.
  19. I have former co workers that want to get together at a McAlisters Deli. I thought they might have an allergen menu, but can't find one. I could just get an ice tea and talk? Thought I'd ask, I've not seen this one mentioned before. Thanks.

  21. I'm cooking something to have for lunch tomorrow. Some fish and chicken with my fav basil/lime juice. Probably make nice herb salad with strawberries. It was long day at work, not liking my new school too much, but trying! So I'm having wine, soy free chocolate chips, Cape Code gluten-free kettle low fat chips(makes me feel better to eat so much) with avocado...

  23. Paper wrapped chicken with basil, thyme, lime juice, veggies. Baked potatos, poppyseed coleslaw for the kids.
  24. I did a little searching online and found they make earth friendly "green" food gloves, you might look into that. I'll think about this situation. I'm seriously thinking of changing jobs because of all the gluten. I'm of course Celiac, but also allergic to wheat and barley.
