  4. you're skipping, dude. start the song over. you wanted to hear from people who are diagnosed celiac purposely eating gluten. in 2 days, not one person has responded who is doing that. i think you have the answer to your question. i hope that people are here to receive advice and help with this disease.

  6. yep. if they're toasting bread or sandwiches, or even cooking somebody else's food that has glutenous sauce or marinade
  7. currently, there are no tests for gluten intolerance. if she has been tested (and had been eating gluten the whole time before testing) but she is better off the gluten, (and you said she is genetically predisposed) if it was my kid, i would let them do any other tests necessary to rule out other things. then, if she is better without it, keep her gluten...
  8. that's awesome! we do 'mostly' gluten free on the holidays - if the kids want glutenous bread or desserts, they need to keep it away from the rest of the meal. they're pretty good at it (practice) (and alot of yelling lolz) good for you, gram!

  10. we do the church dinner quite a bit, so i will make something that is gluten free, take some out and bring it in a separate container. i never eat what's on the 'buffet' EVEN IF I BRING IT AND IT STARTS OUT GLUTEN FREE.   11. i use physician's formula. all their stuff is gluten free and i have sensitive skin but it doesn't make me break out. burt's bees has some stuff that is gluten free. i use that for lip gloss. i check on the manufacturer's website to make sure the particular product is gluten free.
  12. the distillation process removes the gluten. maybe you are reacting to something else. many of us are sensitive to alcohol in general. maybe google 'distillation' .

  24. genetic testing will be the same whether or not you're eating gluten. your doc is seeing if you have the 'right' genes to develop celiac disease. (if they come back positive for the genes, your mom might want to look into getting tested, too. you get your genes from your parents and if it's celiac she could be the originator of the genes) allergies are...
