  1. I get this when I have milk or cheese. Joint pain can be linked to dairy. My knees pop when I walk up or own stairs if I have had gluten or dairy.
  2. Giving up dairy for me is almost harder that giving up gluten! I made the rice milk with the above recipe. It turned out great!! Thanks for posting that.
  3. Cream of Rice cereal with raisins and brown sugar - coffee - cranapple juice
  4. Hamburgers on the grill, green beans and homemade potato chips.
  5. Ugh. I have been having severe reactions to dairy. Lactose free and lactose full. I suspect casein. Does casein have the same effect as gluten in some people? Is it possible to become casein intolerant all of a sudden after being gluten free for 18 months?! Casein makes me a sick as gluten with out the neuro/anxiety stuff. It causes a severe headache, D...
  6. I think that if Lactaid milk and lactose free cheese is making you sick, it has got to be casein. The same thing happened to me with lactose free creamer and cheese. If these products are lactose free, they still have casein. A lot of people here have to avoid dairy. I guess we do too. ugh
  7. I am looking for something to use in place of butter in some of my recipes. Has anyone baked with Smart Balance light. I need it to be Gluten-free Casein-free. Smart Balance Light is both of these but i'm not sure if you can bake with it.
  8. Do I need to strain this or anything?
  9. Thanks for the recipe. I am going to try it. I have a blender that I got a long time ago that I used a few times before I knew better to make smoothies with Rice Dream. I guess I could stick it in the dishwasher to get it really clean and it should be safe that way.
  10. I kept feeling like I had been glutened. I had intestinal pain, D and gas, headache, the works. I knew that I hadn't had any gluten. I don't eat out and eat the same things over and over. I decided to cut out dairy 2 weeks ago. All of those symptoms went away. I was bored with it and sick of black coffee so I bought some cheese and Lactaid milk yesterday...
  11. Thanks for all of the wonderful ideas. I made kettle corn with sugar added to the oil. It was so good! You are right, I am now hooked.
  12. Next time add in 1/2 cup of Kraft Parmesean cheese ( in the shaker can ) to the crust mixture before baking. It makes a HUGE HUGE difference.
  13. Johnson and Johnson Shea and cocoa butter baby lotion is safe and smells great.
  14. I will try that thanks!
  15. I had DH on my knees and chest for several years before my GI issues. Now I have both when glutened. The DH is very minor compared to what it use to be though.
  16. Yes, so much healthier and no CC! Can't beat that. (I always enjoy your recipes and cooking tips etc.)
  17. I have the exact same as you. I have both.
  18. That looks great! Thanks! I tried making some cinnamon and sugar popcorn and it all fell to the bottom of the bowl. I wonder how I could get it to "stick"
  19. I really love popcorn but I would like to spice it up a little. Does anyone have any good ideas? Non-dairy please.
  20. I got glutened, virused, or maybe it's my dumb period. I've been eating rice chex dry. Not the tastiest thing for sure! I will do better next week. With the cooler weather, Cream of Rice season is around the corner.
  21. Pot roast, potatoes, carrots.
  22. Thanks! I am going to make some this weekend. No chance of CC with these!
  23. This sounds great! I am going to make this. Thanks for posting. I am really trying to make everything from scratch myself so this will be nice.
  24. I am growing very tired of lays stax. Does anyone know how to make potato chips at home? I would like to make a bunch to keep in a big zip lock bag to take in my packed lunches. I have tried this in the past but they turned out more like round French fries as opposed to an actual potato chip. Thanks
  25. I am as sensitive as they come. I have never reacted to Mission Corn Chips or Mission Corn Tortillas. Mission Corn Chips and Lays Stax are the ONLY chips that do not make me sick as a dog. I just edited this because I just read their allergen statement again. The statement has changed from the last time I read it. It now says they they are in fact made...
