  1. I was happily surprised to read this today. I have been growing tired of plain Stax. Now we can have Classic Lays and Fritos! Here is the list I copied from their website under the special diets section. U.S. Gluten Free Products Some people suffer from an intolerance to foods containing gluten, which is a type of protein found in wheat, rye and...
  2. Wow...so easy and they sound great! Thanks for posting!
  3. I am making tacos tonight! Can't wait
  4. Do you think that I could use melted nestle choco. chips for the choco. part? I'd love the pb balls recipe when you get a chance. thx
  5. Since you said that he likes beans, how about some bean burritos with Mission corn tortillas. Does he like pasta? There are some good gluten free pastas out there. That with some sauce and cheese or mac. and cheese. How about some gluten free lasagna with veggies hidden in it like pieces of carrot or something.
  6. hmmm, maybe it is the soy. I'll have to eliminate soy and see if I feel better. Thanks everyone for your help! Does soy tend to give people gluten type intestinal reactions?
  7. It is very possible to have a delayed reaction to gluten.
  8. Hello, I bought a pre-seasoned Emeril Ware All-Clad grill pan. Do I need to worry about the pre-seasoned part? Maybe it's just the words that are throwing me off but could this pan have any gluten or soy or anything in it? I don't know what this means. Thanks!
  9. I use the Fructis line too. It comes in big bright green bottles and smells great. Dove is safe too. I use Johnson's coco butter and shea baby lotion on my face. Dove soap and softsoap for hand washing.
  10. They may not have gluten ingredients in them but every time I eat Hershey's candy I get sick. I think they have a big CC problem. I am super super sensitive though.
  11. Same thing happening here. I think some people give food gifts b/c they are quick, inexpensive and easy. Just try to remember it's the thought that counts and re-gift them or give them away.
  12. Sorry about your chocolate cake? Was it just gross or what? What brand of fruit filling did you use? I'd like to try this.
  13. We love it too. I don't have to drive 45 min. to get it. It's at the regular grocery store. It makes great pizza crust. We have pizza for lunch every Sat. now. It also makes great pie crust.
  14. Sometimes it's a crap shoot as to what glutened us. Today I had real cream with my coffee. Going to skip the Stax Threw the ice cream and kisses out. I def. don't need the candy and I am getting a new ice cream maker for Christmas so problem solved. It just gets annoying feeling bad and not knowing exactly what zapped us. Judy3, I'm sorry you got...
  15. This sounds delish!! What is CandiQuick though and where do I buy it? I'd really love to try this!
  16. I feel the exact same way. This year my sister is having lasagna, french bread and salad which I am sure will be gluteney from CC. There wont be anything that I can eat either. I am bringing my own food. I use to bring things to share but my bro in law wont touch my food and everyone else tries it but they never eat it. They nibble and push it around...
  17. I just read the other 2 posts from today about the Kisses. I suspect that those are the culprit. Into the trash they go. You know, this is not the first time that Hershey's has made me sick. Back to Enjoy Life Chocolate bars at least they are made in a dedicated factory on dedicated lines.
  18. I pretty much eat the same foods over and over with a few exceptions. I recently added a few things to my diet that I have not had in 6 months or more. Has anyone been glutened by any of these items? I am at a loss as to what got me and which I should throw out. Plain Organic coffee with coffeemate creamer I bought a new coffeemaker as well. Edy's French...
  19. I have never cheated and never will but when I get glutened by accident, benedryl, pepto and advil helps along with some very strong mint tea.
  20. I would keep all of my dishes and cook wear and silver wear away from theirs. maybe you could have your own cabinet just for your things. You could buy some sort of shelf for your things. For the fridge, maybe your own shelf and label everything of yours. Put colored tape with your name on it on your mayo, jelly mustard. etc. I would wash the fridge handle...
  21. Thank you all for your great suggestions, kind words and advice. I really appreciate it. It's so nice to have such a great support group here.
  22. We have been invited to my sisters house for Christmas Eve. She is having lasagna and bread and salad..Christmas cookies for dessert. There wont be anything for me to eat. I don't trust the salad b/c of CC. She has 3 kids and they all will be eating gluten as well as everyone else there. I was glutened a few weeks ago at her house when my baby niece stuck...
  23. Yes, that is normal along with headaches and being crabby. I don't know how long it lasts b/c I have never been able to do it. Hang in there!
  24. Last night, I feel like I was glutened by ice cream. I have eaten this brand twice with the same results. It was just vanilla ice cream. When I make my own ice cream in my ice cream maker with heavy cream, eggs and milk etc., I never get stomach issues. I drink milk, eat cheese etc., with no issues. Why is the commercial ice cream making me sick? Is C.C....
  25. Thanks. I guess I kind of already thought this. I was glutened 2 weeks ago when my baby niece stuck her hand in my mouth while it was covered in cracker crumbs. I am just being extra careful b/c my system is still a little sore. Thank for the reassurance.
