    the other question I have is;; what is in the stuff they make you drink for the CT scan???? I have had MAJOR D since they did the CT scan and I am not sure if it related to what I had to drink for the CT scan or something else..I did NOT let them do the contrast (( the IV stuff)) because I am iodine sensitive.

    I have ended up in the ER twice this week, Once on Wednesday night and then again today.My symptoms include dizziness ,nausea,abdominal pain and then today additional to those symptoms I developed slight jaundice The only thing that the doc's have found is my bilirubins are climbing. They did a CT scan today of my liver and it did not show any blocked...

  10. I also am still playing detective,, we do press on, at least we are not alone in this any more, we have people who understand. For me that makes all the difference in the world
  11. Could Soy could be an issue?? Soy Is a BIGGIE for me and one of the reactions i have if accidentally ingested soy is BRAIN FOG
  12. pretty much meats,fruits and veggies and a little rice now and then,, I am hoping to be able to add some / most of them back after my gut has healed .

I just recently developed the white film on my tongue, which is why I assumed it was Candidia ,,but now that I am reading more about SA and looking back over my food journals I am starting to wonder ,,, I will get tested for Candidia and in the meantime I will research SA intolerance ** I Did not eat very many fruits and I NEVER ate veggies before...
  14. I am interested in finding out more about SA intolerance, Obviously I am not going to be able to totally eliminate SA,, as you said it is in all fruits and veggies to some degree. I wonder if it a matter of finding what my daily limit / tolerance is?? The list of reactions you listed are very similar to mine,,, the "ringing in the ears " is what caught...
  15. and a most handsome young lad he is I think the taste testing party and introducing him to others that have celiacs is an excellent idea,,, Feeling as if you are the only one who has to deal with this is an awful ,lonely feeling. Helping him to establish a support system ( in addition to you and dad) is a wonderful thing

  17. When I first started my elimination diet I dropped 2 pants sizes when the bloating went down . Starting and sticking with a strict elimination diet can be very ,very tough, but it is so worth it. Hang in there, sounds like you are off to a good start **by the way,, love your name **

  20. so did I, , Mine also said gluten -free right on the package . I am looking forward to corned beef and cabbage,,, I may not be Irish ( I'm of Scottish decent ) but I love corned beef and cabbage

  22. oh my I though I had RECENTLY developed an allergy to Almonds .... I will certainly be doing some more research on SA Intolerance I am seeing my doctor on Thursday,, I am HOPING She can say yes it is or no it isn't Candadia , Thanks again Bea

Until recently , I had been vegan /vegetarian for most of my adult life ,,, The common denominators ( that each of these diets consider allowed/legal foods),, that I have found(( I am still looking for more)),,in the Candida,SCD,GAPS,Gluten Free, low SA are : Fish Eggs Meat Poultry I find that meat is what my body is able to tolerate...
