  3. thanks I will try it,,,I have been eating a protein with the starch ( something that was recommended to me because my blood sugar runs low) so that may be what is going on when it is bothersome.. I feel like I have no idea how to feed my body, every thing i have ever been told before learning about celiacs was just WRONG

  5. As you said it is a very individual thing,,, For me I am currently eating sweet potatoes, all types of berries ,coconut oil in my cooking and what meats I can tolerate. Sounds like a very limited diet but these thing I know I can eat and feel well. As my gut begins to heal ,I will try to reintroduce different foods but for now I am happy to feel well

I voted neutral because even though I felt better at 6 months ,, it was not until about 9 months in that i realized that I was having issues with Soy (even though I did not eat soy per-say just that little in processed foods was to much )Oats ,Corn and Nightshades.I had some gallbladder issues that complicated things. Even now at a year + I am weeding out...

  15. This is also true for me, Gluten free cooking is easy, once you clear all the things with gluten in them from your kitchen . Gluten free cooking is time consuming,cooking from scratch is more time consuming than using pre-packaged foods. The hardest part of going gluten free was the loss of convenience ,,, but now I pre -plan my meals and cook...

I have been looking into the SCD and FODMAPS diets and have found a few permitted foods that both diets have in common , so that feels like a good starting point for me . I am also trying to go organic with what I can. T.H. ,,,I had not considered sulfite sensitivity as a possibility...

  18. When I was eating vegan ,I was eating a lot of soy. Soy I now know is as big of a problem (maybe bigger) for me as gluten,,just saying. Sorry, I dont have any helpful suggestions,,hopefully others will have some good suggestions. I will say; hang in there, and we are here if you need to vent
  19. When I eat cauliflower/ or broccoli within 45 min I have a MAJOR headache and MAJOR brain fog,and vertigo . the indigestion and stomach pain start all most immediately , the stomach cramps and D take about 24 hours

  23. I also had to ,just had to ,click on the mystery to medical science button after 40 some years of illness I was tested only because my daughter tested positive for celiacs ,,,even a year or so after my diagnoses I still feel like a MYSTERY TO MEDICAL SCIENCE
  24. I so agree with this. I was fortunate to even receive my diagnose. My youngest daughters symptoms were mostly neurological.After three years of tests,including a spinal tap for MS, many MRI's ,many Cat-scans and misdiagnoses ,,my daughter INSISTED her doctor send her to a specialist. Personally, I think he sent her just to shut her up and get her out...
