  3. Yes, at 'Bank' station (the financial area of London funnily enough ) the platform curves away from the train so there is a gap as you step off.   6. Hi Betty and welcome My hubby has a small hiatal hernia and it would seem many coeliacs discover they have one during their endoscopy. Luckily for him once he went gluten-free it didn't cause him any more problems. I'm sure there are others out there who will answer soon

  9. Indeed much knicker pondering and musing Here (uk) it's underwear, knickers for girls, pants for blokes (as in y fronts ) or boxers for blokes (jockeys?) I always imagined the knicker to the knee is a pantaloon or bloomers -- (gotta try them - are we talking ultimate comfort but total complete and utter passion killers? )

  17. Actually, it can take an adult up to 2 yrs for their villi to heal completely. My hubby had been gluten-free for around 6 months before he (temporarily) acquired a problem with milk. Milk products for him clearly gave him symptoms but he was ok with butter and cheese so he knew it was lactose. He stayed off it for a couple of months - but kept trying...
